New Italian government minister rejects EU and U.S. narrative on Ukraine by saying it was a foreign funded 'fake' revolution

With the new Italian government having proved it is more than willing to take on the bureaucrats in Brussels over EU policies that have kept the Southern state in perpetual austerity over the past decade, on July 19 the Minister of the Interior proved that they are also willing to challenge EU and U.S. policies over Russia.

And in particular, over the narrative that the Maidan Coup was a completely internal revolution sparked by the Ukrainian people.

Putin Warns Kiev Against a 'World Cup Offensive' Against the Donbass

Putin Warns Kiev Against a 'World Cup Offensive' Against the Donbass

Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin conducted an over four hour marathon call in question and answer session on Thursday. As (post)Western journalists never tire of pointing out, the annual affair is mostly scripted, with the questions reviewed in advance.

There are however, some public comments that appear on screen during the telecast which are not pre-screened, and Putin often uses the forum to make new statements about important policy issues, even on topics where the Russian President’s thoughts are well known. One of these is the subject of the U.S./NATO supported war, now dragging into its fourth year, in which Ukrainian forces and Russian-backed Donbass fighters remain locked in a stalemate. A conflict that in recent weeks has heated up, with the UAF determined to seize high ground around the city of Gorlovka and the Svitlodarsk bulge in the front lines, but failing to achieve a decisive breakthrough. With Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko facing the prospect of new elections as his approval rating shrinks to almost zero, the risk of escalation designed to draw in Russian forces during an international sports showcase for Moscow seems high.

Syraq SITREP 56: Russian Casualties from ISIS Attack, Israel-Iran Negotiations Via Jordan

Syraq SITREP 56: Russian Casualties from ISIS Attack, Israel-Iran Negotiations Via Jordan

At least four Russian military advisers are dead and several wounded after an ISIS attack on a Syrian Arab Army position in a government controlled part of Deir Ez Zor province. RT.com reports the Russian Defense Ministry said 43 Daesh terrorists and six vehicles used by the attackers were destroyed. Additional details about the attack were not provided, but the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (one guy living over a shop in Coventry, UK) claimed that nine Russian soldiers died in the hour long firefight.

Prior to the fight this weekend, the SAA had been moving troops freed up from the defeat of jihadist pockets around Damascus to clean out the remaining ISIS remnants in the Homs desert. ISIS may have received reinforcements of its own from several hundred militants who escaped before the south and east Damascus encirclement. The likely response of the Russian forces will be more air strikes guided by spetsnaz units to hunt down the remaining terrorists. We can likely expect to see more Iraqi Air Force strikes on Daesh units in territory nominally controlled by the Americans as part of their temporary demarcation along the Euphrates agreement with the Russians. Moscow’s Defense Ministry is also likely to reproach the Americans for not doing enough against the common ISIS terrorist enemy, who noticeably leaves U.S. and French bases in the Kurdish dominated areas alone.

Ukrainian Army Launches Assault on Gorlovka, as Possible Prelude to UAF 'World Cup' Offensive

Ukrainian Army Launches Assault on Gorlovka, as Possible Prelude to UAF 'World Cup' Offensive

The Ukrainian Army has launched an assault on Gorlovka, a city in the Donbass which had a prewar population of 271,000 people. Today Gorlovka is home to considerably fewer civilians, many of whom sleep in basements every night to avoid being killed or wounded by shelling. The UAF attacks launched in battalion strength against the pro-Russian Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) defenders began with intensified artillery fire around the May 9 Victory Day holiday.

On May 20, the UAF attempted infantry advances aided by mortar and machine gun fire. These involved hundreds of men beyond the squad to platoon sized skirmishes that have happened along the contact line for months. The UAF attack was repulsed, but both sides suffered higher than admitted casualties numbering into the scores of dead and hundreds wounded. The UAF’s immediate objective is not to conquer the entire city — a task likely too bloody for Kiev’s 24th and 54th brigades — but to seize the commanding heights around the Sheverevka coal mine from which Ukrainian artillery could pound Gorlovka, and support a push toward Debaltsevo. The latter is a key crossroads town the Ukrainians lost in a humiliating defeat back in February 2015.

The Empire Is Crumbling, But Not Dead, and Desperate for War

The Empire Is Crumbling, But Not Dead, and Desperate for War

Let us review: Every effort by the British to bring down the government of the United States under President Donald Trump has failed. MI6 agent Christopher Steele's dodgy dossier now stands exposed as the only basis for the launching of Trumpgate by the corrupt Obama intelligence team, and the perpetrators are themselves now facing criminal prosecution; the Skripal case has disappeared from the media, as the connections to the same Christopher Steele were coming to the fore; the Syrian chemical weapons fraud concocted by the British-run White Helmets has now been exposed internationally as a Nazi-like staged affair to justify a military assault. That assault, in which Trump was tricked into going along with the British and the French, effectively declared that the international law established after World War II, through the United Nations, to prevent another world war, was dead.

The Empire will not go quietly into the night. Bibi Netanyahu's antics — claiming "proof" that Iran is still developing nuclear weapons — is being ridiculed even by former Israeli intelligence officials as re-packaged news, already known by the IAEA, and proving nothing. But the British have always used the Israeli right-wing, and the Saudi Royal family, to provoke divisions and, when necessary, to start wars. With Trump having cooperated with Putin in defeating ISIS in Syria, and swearing that he wants to get the U.S. out of Syria altogether and "stop being the world's policeman," the British are desperately pulling every possible string to drag the U.S. into more wars.

Russiagate and Ukraine: How the Mueller Investigation Heightens the War Danger

Russiagate and Ukraine: How the Mueller Investigation Heightens the War Danger

Posted by Harley Schlanger on March 04, 2018

March 2—It is not exactly a secret that so-called neo-conservatives in the U.S. State Department and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), in conjunction with "left-wing" speculator and City of London operative George Soros, collaborated in the regime change coup in Ukraine in February 2014, which overthrew the democratically-elected government of Viktor Yanukovic. Former Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs, the unabashed neocon Victoria Nuland, bragged that the U.S. and related agencies, such as the NED, spent $5 billion to lay the groundwork for the coup.

What is not generally known, however, due to the lying coverage in the Trans-Atlantic "Fake News" media, is that included in this unholy alliance of coup plotters were armed militia units made up of neo-Nazis, who were responsible for the bloodshed on Maidan Square in Kiev, and which threatened the ethnic Russians, which constitute the majority of the population in the eastern Ukraine regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. The lie that there was no neo-Nazi involvement has been maintained, despite ample evidence to the contrary, including interviews with militants pronouncing admiration for Hitler's collaborators in the Bandera movement in Ukraine during World War II, when Ukrainian units murdered ethnic Poles, Russians, and other "non-Ukrainians", including Ukrainian Jews. The armed "Banderistas" and related thugs have been incorporated into the security apparatus of the Kiev regime, and continue to march in the halls of Parliament and on the streets, under banners with pictures of Bandera, the Nazi collaborator, and symbols going back to their alliance with the Nazi SS.

British Empire’s Russiagate Operation In Open Disarray

British Empire’s Russiagate Operation In Open Disarray

Feb. 20, 2018 (EIRNS)—The coup crowd is pretty much making things up as they go. Indicative is Rep. Adam Schiff’s response to Robert Mueller’s indictment of the 13 Russians, to he effect of: well, this set of indictments may not have shown Trump "collusion," but just you wait—maybe the next ones will.

The Boston Herald today joined the New York Times and Yale Law School’s Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic in calling for the FISA court to declassify the Obama administration’s application for a surveillance order on Carter Page and the FISA Court order, wishfully hoping that the Steele dossier was not the only basis for the surveillance order. In any case, the Herald editorial staff concluded:

"To continue to keep the FBI’s warrant application secret at this point and in a case where there is intense public interest is counterproductive. It’s high time for a dose of sunlight on this case."

Forget the Ham Sandwich, Indict Piroshki: To Keep Russiagate Alive, Mueller Indicts 13 'Internet Research Center' Russians

Forget the Ham Sandwich, Indict Piroshki: To Keep Russiagate Alive, Mueller Indicts 13 'Internet Research Center' Russians

After weeks of the Russiagate Narrative losing momentum, with the Obama Justice Department's use of a British spook's made-up dossier as justification to spy on the Trump campaign and CIA director John Brennan and FBI agents' perjury under investigation by GOP led Congressional committees, the Empire behind Special Counsel Robert Mueller struck back. On Friday Mueller's office issued an indictment of thirteen Russian citizens. Conveniently for the Russiagate Narrative, none of the indicted Russians likely will ever see the inside of a U.S. court room or have the opportunity to debunk the prosecution.

Nonetheless, with nothing burger short order cook Mueller having produced little more than confessions to lying to the FBI and indictments of Paul Manafort for alleged money laundering predating Manafort's work for the Trump campaign, the legacy media leaped on the news like a pack of starving hounds. They were joined by the entire Washington and media establishment, with some Congressmen like Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) comparing an alleged trolling and impersonation operation to the Imperial Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor.

The evidence of Russian meddling in the U.S. election is now 'incontrovertible', according to White House National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster -- who would later be subtly rebuked by his nominal boss, the President of the United States, on Twitter. The press claimed that Donald Trump had labeled all Russian disinfo efforts a 'hoax', even though Trump insisted he was referring to the Democrats and neocon #NeverTrump ers accusations against him or his campaign of collusion (whatever that means) with Russia. And Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein stated during his press conference that the 37 page indictment did not present any evidence of witting American cooperation with the Internet Research Center's political trolling. However, the latest product of Mueller's team full of prosecutorial hacks is worse than a crime -- it's a farce. Not only on the basis of its shaky, free speech violating legal theory regarding what constitutes illegal foreign influence over political outcomes in the United States, but also in its 'overwhelming' yet shoddy and easily faked evidence. Allow the Russian Analyst to explain...

U.S. Arming the Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine

U.S. Arming the Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine

Jan. 23, 2018 (EIRNS)—Max Blumenthal, in a long article published in The Real News Network (therealnews.com) and carried on the website of the American Committee for East-West Accord, reports on the U.S. arming of the Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine, beginning during the Obama Administration.

It started in October 2016, he reports,

“when the Texas-based AirTronic company announced a contract to deliver $5.5 million worth of PSRL-1 rocket-propelled grenade launchers to an Allied European military customer. In June 2017, photos turned up on Azov’s website showing its fighters testing PSRL-1 grenade launchers in the field.”

The US Is Already Providing Lethal Weapons to Ukraine

The US Is Already Providing Lethal Weapons to Ukraine

Recent allegations that a US company is selling lethal weapons to Ukraine, under licence has raised eyebrows in the context of the ongoing civil war in Donbass, in Eastern Ukraine. The company in question is a Texas-based organisation called AirTronic USA, who is supplying PSRL grenade launchers to Ukraine. AirTronic USA began entering into discussions with Ukraine around two years ago with the first deliveries of the grenade launchers shipped to Ukraine in 2016.

Deliveries of these weapons are ongoing and whilst the details of the agreement remain undisclosed it is understood that AirTronic USA works in close coordination with the US Embassy in Ukraine, he US State Department, the Pentagon and the Ukrainian government. The grenade launchers are shipped under the DDTC DSP-5 export license from the US State Department. It is also understood that these systems do not violate the Minsk-2 agreements.

Interview with The Saker Time Monk Radio 11-10-2017

The Russian Analyst's friend Andre Raevsky better known as The Saker joined Time Monk Radio on Friday for an hour plus length conversation on the second Cold War and breakdown of what Andre calls the 'Anglo-Zionist Empire'. See also The Saker's recently republished at Zerohedge article "Two American Myths" about the realities of the U.S. homeland not being spared in any military confrontation with Russia and Russian (and Chinese) super/hypersonic missile capabilities to inflict unacceptable losses on the U.S. in a war -- even without the use of nuclear arms. That article was written partially as a follow up to an earlier article by Andre responding to former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Paul Craig Roberts column, "Someday Tomorrow Won't Arrive" about Washington's civilians (not so much the Pentagon anymore) arrogantly underestimating Russian military prowess and resolve.

Putin Tells Valdai Conference He Fears Srebrenica-Type Massacre If Russia Abandons Donbass

Putin Tells Valdai Conference He Fears Srebrenica-Type Massacre If Russia Abandons Donbass

Although the following article comes from Executive Intelligence Review (EIR), we are posting it here with commentary from the Russian Analyst as it pertains to the Ukraine war.

In yet another sign that Moscow has no intention of abandoning the two breakaway mini-republics it supports in Donetsk and Lugansk, Vladimir Putin recently declared that if Russia were to close its borders to the Donbass -- as the U.S.-backed government in Kiev demands -- there could be a refugee exodus into the Russian Federation.

German Foreign Minister Gabriel Supports Putin's Plan to Introduce UN Peacekeepers to Stop the War in Donbass

German Foreign Minister Gabriel Supports Putin's Plan to Introduce UN Peacekeepers to Stop the War in Donbass

With the war on ISIS and Al-Qaeda jihadists nearly won in Syria, Washington's neocons and their deep state allies are looking to arm Ukraine with American weapons in order to pressure Russia. However Russian President Vladimir Putin has not been standing still waiting for the Javelin missiles to start flowing to Ukrainian Army units and ultra-nationalist volunteer battalions fighting Russia's local proxies in the Donbass region.

While warning Washington in a press conference that arming the U.S. proxy Kiev government could lead to the conflict spreading from Donbass to other parts of Ukraine, Putin put forward a proposal to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to introduce peacekeepers into the war-torn region. This would allow the Minsk 2 agreements portions which neither side have implemented to go forward, keeping the pro-Russian Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics either nominally part of Ukraine or as de facto independent statelets with a frozen conflict, as in Transnistria and South Ossetia/Abkhazia.

While the State Department tepidly acknowledged the Russian proposal, what has to be disconcerting to the neocons is that Germany's Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel endorsed Putin's plan, while acknowledging that Berlin and Moscow still did not see eye to eye on the status of Crimea. In other words, just as Dr. Jim Willie, London Paul and V the Guerrilla Economist have been saying for the last several years, Germany is pivoting eastward and even Chancellor Angela Merkel's reelection to a fourth term is unlikely to stop the rising Paris-Berlin-Moscow consortium of geoeconomic interests.

FBI Coup Plotters Escalate with the Race Card — Trump Being Set up for Riots and Assassination

Thursday's terrorist attack ISIS is taking credit for in Barcelona, Catalunia (see Deb @BanksterSlayer Caruthers important article on the numerology of this atrocity) has barely dented the frenzied media coverage of President Donald Trump's allegedly insufficient denunciations of the Klu Klux Klan and neo-Nazism after the tragic death of a young woman in Charlottesville, Virginia. The legacy media is attempting to pressure, or more accurately choreograph, a growing number of supposedly moderate Republicans like Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) into denouncing the president, as the most partisan Democrats demand impeachment or more than hint at his assassination. Meanwhile, Vice News, a media outlet that made a name for itself covering the Maidan mayhem in Ukraine and the subsequent war in Donbass, is provocatively calling for a Taliban-style destruction of Mount Rushmore.

Ukrainian Rockets' (North Korean) Red Glare

Ukrainian Rockets' (North Korean) Red Glare

Hours after we published a RogueMoney article on the U.S./NATO buildup against Russia in and around Ukraine, The New York Times reported that the Ukrainian rocket engines firm Yuzhmash illicitly shipped powerful boosters to North Korea. These engines originally designed in the Soviet Union for ICBMs like the SS-18 'Satan' are said to account for North Korea's major leap in missile range achieved in recent tests. Yuzhmash is of course, like many other Soviet legacy Ukrainian industries, facing ruin due to the cutoff of trade with Russia since 2014.

With the recently passed UN Security Council (UNSC) sanctions supported by Russia and China potentially opening the door to sanctioning any nation that proliferates nuclear or missile technology to Pyongyang, not suprisingly Yuzhmash and the U.S.-backed Kiev government are denying everything. But the story is coming at a difficult time for Kiev, as a growing number of Americans ask why neo-Nazi and torchlight marches chanting 'blood and soil' are unacceptable in Charlottesville, Virginia but sponsored by the American taxpayer and Arizona U.S. Sen. John McCain via funding for the Ukrainian National Guard's SS rune flag waving Azov Battalion...

Tougher Line: Russia Hosts Chinese Warships in Baltic, Donetsk Declares Malorossiya

Tougher Line: Russia Hosts Chinese Warships in Baltic, Donetsk Declares Malorossiya

Several days have passed since President Donald J. Trump's first meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 in Hamburg. Along with the handshake and two hours plus meet and greet open to cameras, the two world leaders also met with more privacy before midnight local time at dinner. After the legacy media breathlessly reported this second Putin-Trump face to face conversation based on Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer's claim Monday that only the Russian leader's interpreter was nearby, an angry Trump tweeted that the press pool and G20 leaders had known all about Mr. Bremmer's 'scoop' and failed to report it earlier. The latest #TrumpRussia 'scandal, combined with the instant leak of a transcript of Trump's phone call with British Prime Minister Theresa May, in which the President reportedly sought to avoid British venues open to protesters in an upcoming visit to the UK, magnified the impression of chaos in Washington. The fact that the President's own party majority in Congress also failed to agree on an Obamacare replacement bill this week only underscores the general sense of disarray and backbiting in the undrained D.C. swamp.

The American Deep State meanwhile, through its mouthpieces like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) published journal Foreign Policy and the James Comey leaks-cheerleading Lawfare, is pushing the ludicrous line that Donald Trump Jr's useless meeting with a few (likely Fusion GPS dodgy dossier authoring firm linked) Russians in June 2016 constitutes a violation of the 1917 Espionage Act. Looking at the fanatical opposition any rapprochement with Russia faces in Washington, it's little wonder that the Kremlin and its Chinese allies are, in the words of The Sirius Report's London Paul texted to me, losing patience with the idea that a besieged, confused or infiltrated Trump White House can deliver anything of substance.

Trump/Putin Post G20 -- Early Results

Trump/Putin Post G20 -- Early Results

RogueMoney reader 'DP' of Kansas emailed us asking the Russia Analyst's opinion of the first Trump/Putin meeting at the G20 in Hamburg. A week has passed, and we still haven't made up our minds -- is the glass half full, with real U.S.-Russia detente now possible as our friends Harley Schlanger and especially London Paul would suggest? Or is the glass half empty and broken spilling its contents to the floor, as our friend The Saker and his acquaintance former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts concluded? The one thing that is certain -- since the ill-advised and false intelligence based Tomahawk missile strike on Syrian government forces in April, the Kremlin and Russian people can only evaluate the Trump Administration on the bases of actions, not words. Clearly, Putin and Trump spending four times their scheduled allotted time together at the G20 was a positive sign, and some would say, given the fits of Russophobic hysteria seizing Washington, a minor miracle. Now comes the follow up that will determine if Trump actually can deliver anything positive from the American side, or the first baby steps toward ending Cold War 2...

The #Kremlin’s Indifference to the US Grows Ever More Apparent

According to [White House National Security Adviser H.R.] McMaster, one of the top priorities of the US President’s trip is to develop a common approach to Russia and he added that Trump wants the US and Russia to have a more constructive relationship. However, Putin stated earlier in June that while the US and Russia maintained dialogue across international platforms, the foundation of mutual cooperation had been ruined, placing bilateral relations at “the lowest point since the Cold War.”

Remember @NATOPress/#NATO, #Russia Also Says #NeverAgain

The Jews and Armenians are not the only ones who say 'never again'. So do the Russians, NATO friends. As a reminder to those eagerly building up the largest military force seen on Russia's western borders since that time: nothing is forgotten, no one is forgotten...
