War Party Flails Against the New Reality Defined by the Singapore and Helsinki Summits

War Party Flails Against the New Reality Defined by the Singapore and Helsinki Summits

On Friday Russian President Vladimir Putin said while in South Africa for the BRICS Summit that he had invited U.S. President Donald Trump to Moscow for talks. The Administration reciprocated later in the day, saying Putin is welcome to visit the White House next year. Despite major Senate opposition and hysterical press and social media cries of ‘treason!’, the two sides are slowly working towards easing tensions. The response from the British-led trans-Atlantic deep state and their front men in Congress has been to propose more sanctions and accuse Moscow of hacking into the U.S. power grid and the campaign of Missouri Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill.

The deep state dead-enders are doubling down on the Russiagate scandal, with former attorney Michael Cohen contradicting his previous Senate testimony and public denials that candidate Trump did not know about a summer 2016 meeting between his son Donald Jr. and Fusion GPS paid “Russian government lawyer” provocateur Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower (Ms. Veselnitskaya was coached by Fusion GPS CEO Glenn Simpson before the meeting and after it). The President tweeted out that Cohen has likely hired old Clintons crony Lanny Davis and turned on his former patron to save himself and his Ukrainian-born father in law from an indictment over fraud in their New York taxi business — charges that, like the indictments against former campaign chair Paul Manafort, have nothing to do with Russia collusion. But they have everything to do with special counsel Robert Mueller’s desperation to find any witness who can testify for him against President Trump.

This Is the Moment for Change

This Is the Moment for Change

Two events of the day point the way for how the New Silk Road paradigm is the means to overcome what is currently being whipped up in the Trans-Atlantic as inevitable, insoluble strife: the migrant crisis and trade war.

In the Americas, Bolivian President Evo Morales met in Beijing today with President Xi Jinping, and signed commitments for Belt and Road collaboration between Bolivia and China. Morales said it will mean economic development and peace throughout the continent. Also in China, is a delegation from the Dominican Republic, conferring on economic projects and business in the Caribbean. Generalized across Ibero-America, this activity--along with defeating the narco-criminals--can end the poverty and danger driving millions to flee their homelands. At present, 200 million out of the 650 million-plus people in Ibero-America and the Caribbean live in poverty, which can all be changed.

Secondly, the Japanese government is now working on specifics for first-ever cooperation with China on joint ventures in third countries, under the Belt and Road framework. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe this week spoke of how Japan's "infrastructure exports" can be done on a collaborative basis. A task force is at work on selecting priority projects. This is a powerhouse arrangement.

False Flags, Fake News, Regime Change In Washington Exposed As Made In London

False Flags, Fake News, Regime Change In Washington Exposed As Made In London

With each passing day, revelations are emerging which show that not only are the "news stories" proliferating in the media about Presidents Trump, Putin, Xi, and Syria's Assad full of lies, but come from London-directed networks, which are out to sabotage the potential for peace through development, which is the aim of the new "win-win" paradigm and is emerging with the New Silk Road global program. Associates of the Schiller Institute have been at the forefront in exposing these lies, while explaining their origin, in London, but also their cause: the rejection by these circles of the New Paradigm, which Helga Zepp LaRouche has played a leading role in bringing into existence

Clearing the Fog of War: Lies, Damn Lies, Damn British Lies

Clearing the Fog of War: Lies, Damn Lies, Damn British Lies

The Washington Post of Monday, April 16, portrays President Trump as surrounded by a traitorous foreign policy team which is lying to him constantly and persistently about Russia and actions this team has taken in the President’s name, in your name, against Russia and China. The Post attempts to claim that Trump’s national security staff staged a palace coup against him concerning Russia and Syria and that Trump lost the battle. But the President responded immediately by acting against the traitors around him. He scuttled the appointment of Nikki Haley’s assistant, the Never-Trumper Jon Lemer, for a national security post with Mike Pence. The White House announced that new sanctions against Russia, based on Russia’s support for Syria, which Nikki Haley promoted only yesterday, were being rolled back. It was publicly announced that President Trump still wants to meet with Vladimir Putin, although a date has not yet been set.

At the same time, French President Macron bragged to the world that it was he who duped the President into a missile attack on Syria, reviving the very Clinton/Obama regime change doctrines the American people righteously rejected in the 2016 elections. This only sets the stage for ferocious blowback on the President of France.

Syraq SITREP 48: Russian MoD Says Syria Shot Down More Than 2/3rds of Anglo-American-French Missiles, Pentagon Insists Not a Single Missile Downed by Damascus Defenders

Syraq SITREP 48: Russian MoD Says Syria Shot Down More Than 2/3rds of Anglo-American-French Missiles, Pentagon Insists Not a Single Missile Downed by Damascus Defenders

Nearly two days have passed, multiple satellite photographs of destroyed buildings have been released to the world since Saturday morning's U.S.-British-French missile strikes in Syria...and the Pentagon has a serious problem. An issue much larger than just 'PR' or the 'Russian disinformation' that Secretary of Defense James Mattis warned about, which is said to have included trolling activity increasing by 2,000% (from what baseline and over which period of time this percentage increase was recorded, the DoD spokesmen and women wouldn't say).

Perhaps in part because the blow was telegraphed last week by President Trump's tweet taunting Russians that the shiny new 'smart missiles' were coming, or due to the limited scope of targeting (just three sites allegedly related to a covert Syrian chemical weapons program), or just plain hubris and smug underestimation of Syria's defenders and their Russian big brothers watching the skies -- the attack was a dud. Such that even those who rushed to praise President Trump for striking Assad the alleged chemical bomber of children were left disappointed, pining for more multi-100 million dollar fireworks to show Vladimir Putin who's the global superpower boss.

While the Russian Analyst does not know if Moscow's tally of 71 out of 103 missiles fired from US-UK-French warships and aircraft intercepted is accurate...we can confidently assess that the U.S. Department of Offense spokesman's claims -- that every missile fired hit its intended target and that there were no launch failures or weapons falling short -- is false. We also know the Pentagon, likely due to the current hysteria over all things Russian in Washington, denied giving Moscow any strike warning on Friday beyond the usual deconfliction channels -- whereas the French immediately contradicted that point. What remains to be seen is how much wreckage from downed Tomahawk and StormShadow (French and British deployed) missiles the Russian generals will present in Damascus as proof their American counterparts are lying.

Enough! Call Congress And Your Senator And Tell Them To Shutdown Robert Mueller, Stop The British Drive To War

Enough! Call Congress And Your Senator And Tell Them To Shutdown Robert Mueller, Stop The British Drive To War

We, the United States, are about to launch an attack on Syria and, possibly, the Russian troops therein, based on perfidious British lies; based on what may turn out to be history's final and blackest intelligence hoax, the one that eliminated the human race. At the same time, President Trump's personal lawyer's office was raided today, April 9, 2018, based on a referral from Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The issue apparently concerns allegations surrounding a years old affair between the President and the lying and disgusting porn star Stormy Daniels. This is considered so serious by Mueller and our corrupt FBI, that the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution can be summarily tossed aside. These two outrageous events are completely related. Unless you rise up with us right now to stop it, this country is in grave, graver peril. The outright attempt to blackmail this President into the war he was elected to stop has been escalated beyond anyone's imagination...

Syraq SITREP 41: Chemical False Flags Fail, Gerasimov-Dunford Hotline Talks and Turkish Occupation

Syraq SITREP 41: Chemical False Flags Fail, Gerasimov-Dunford Hotline Talks and Turkish Occupation

On March 20 Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced that three attempts by jihadists to use chemical arms in Syria had been foiled. The following day the commander of Russia's nuclear, chemical and biological defense troops Igor Kirillov declared during a press conference about the poisoning of ex-GRU agent Sergey Skripal in the United Kingdom that Syrian government forces had captured forty tons of poisonous substances the jihadis intended to use for staged chemical attacks to be blamed on the Assad government. Kirillov's comparison of the attempted chemical false flags in Syria with the poisoning of Sergei Skripal in Great Britain blamed by the HMG on Russia elicited outraged tweets from the usual neocon fanatics. The translated text of the joint Russian MFA/MoD press conference can be found here at the Vineyard of the Saker website.

Russian MoD warnings that Syrian militants both 'moderate' and Al-Qaeda linked had tried to stage chemical false flags but failed were followed by Pentagon statements that they had observed a build up of pro-Damascus forces close to the Euphrates River deconfliction line. The Americans vowed to defend themselves from any Syrian government attacks, without presenting any legal basis under international law for carving out their quasi-permanent zone of occupation inside Syria. Meanwhile, Syrian government media outlets accused the U.S. Army of evacuating ISIS personnel on Blackhawk helicopters as the Daesh terror group launched isolated attacks in the greater east Damascus countryside and against security forces across the border in Iraq. The U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff USMC Gen. Joseph Dunford announced productive deconfliction talks this week with his counterpart, Russian Chief of Staff Valery Gerasimov.

Syraq SITREP 40: From Salisbury to Syria

Syraq SITREP 40: From Salisbury to Syria

In the past week, the alleged novichok nerve agent poisoning of British intelligence asset and formerly imprisoned GRU agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury has sucked all of the oxygen out of other Russia-related stories. Even the effort to keep the RussiaGate story alive here in the U.S. via claims of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians has failed as an addendum to the bellicose headlines from the United Kingdom. This is occurring despite or because of Attorney General Jeff Sessions firing the corrupt FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe over his lies about leaking to the media and stifling of the investigations into Hillary Clinton.

Another problem the neocons and 'the cabal' have on their hands, is keeping the war drums at a sufficient pitch without going overboard or alternatively, being accused of laughable half measures in light of the enormous threat they're hyping. The expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats, some of them undoubtedly intelligence officers working in under diplomatic cover Great Britain, followed by Russia's tit for tat PNG'ing of 23 Brits from their country hardly seems sufficient retaliation by PM Theresa May's government for 'the first offensive use of nerve agent in Europe since WWII' and an act of chemical 'terrorism' supposedly ordered by President Vladimir Putin himself (if we believe the buffoonish British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson). It seems if May and her cabinet really believed the evidence they're presenting to the British people and the world, the Royal Navy ought to be sailing for the Bosporus Black Sea entrance and a second Crimean War, or at least the once mighty British Army ought to be reinforcing their aging Challenger tanks a stone's throw from Russian borders in the Baltics. At the very least, the spectacle of denouncing a country whose oligarchs both Kremlin connected and anti-Putin have lavished so much cash on London-grad without the British doing much of anything to stanch the licit and illicit money flows would be amusing for the hypocrisy if it weren't so serious.

Syraq SITREP 37: SU57s Flying in Syrian Skies, More Details on U.S. Attack on Russian Mercs, Syria/Turkey Confrontation in Afrin

Syraq SITREP 37: SU57s Flying in Syrian Skies, More Details on U.S. Attack on Russian Mercs, Syria/Turkey Confrontation in Afrin

On Friday, February 23 Russia marked its Defender of the Fatherland (День защитника Отечества) federal holiday. In Syria, Moscow added more aerial firepower to its deployed contingent, including four Su-35 air superiority fighters, four Su-25 close air support jets and one A-50U radar surveillance aircraft. Other deployments that may be unseen could include stepped up alerts for cruise missile firing Russian bombers based out of Saratov or Dagestan regions, Kalibr cruise missiles on subs and ships in the Caspian, Black and Mediterranean Seas, as well as more highly mobile Pantsir air defense systems of the type that could deter further American strikes on combined Syrian-Russian ground forces.

Whether in response to the U.S. bombing of Russian private military contractors/non-servicemen volunteers of February 7-8 or as a signal of resolve to Turkey, which has threatened to expand its military campaign against sovereign Syrian territory in Kurdish-held Afrin, the Russians are making moves. The question now is how Ankara, Tel Aviv and Washington will respond, as the Syrian War lurches toward a very messy end game. One with U.S. forces nominally occupying over 20% of Syrian territory east of the Euphrates, bloody urban combat in the ruins of Ghouta, jihadists like rats fighting each other for scraps of Idlib, and Syrian Army and Shi'a militia forces seeking to stop the Turkish onslaught against the Kurds in the north.

On Friday, President Donald Trump pandered to the neocons in his Administration, saying during a press conference with the Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull "what Russia and what Iran and what Syria have done recently is a humanitarian disgrace". Trump stopped short of indicating whether the U.S. would take military action against Assad's forces for 'humanitarian' reasons as it did in April on his orders, in response to an alleged Syrian chemical attack on the Al-Qaeda dominated town of Khan Sheikhoun. In the same remarks, Trump also appealed to his America First base, claiming the U.S. has no territorial ambitions in Syria and plans to 'go home' after ISIS remnants get mopped up. The fact that many scattered ISIS units continue to operate in territory the Americans forcefully keep Syrian government forces out of was not mentioned by the Commander in Chief.

National Security Advisor McMaster Stabs Trump in the Back Again, on Russia Policy

National Security Advisor McMaster Stabs Trump in the Back Again, on Russia Policy

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and the other neocons President Trump has foolishly brought into the White House are embarrassing, but persistent in their view of Russia as an eternal U.S. adversary. Weeks after UN Ambassador Nikki Haley was 'punk'd' by Russian pranksters Vova and Lexus, who posed as Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on the phone to record Haley denouncing Kremlin meddling in the fictional Southeast Asian country of Binomo, McMaster claimed the Russians are now menacing -- Mexico.

Without offering any evidence or examples from South of the Border, McMaster declared in a speech to the historically Russophobic, Caucuses jihadi friendly Jamestown Foundation that Russians were interfering in the upcoming Mexican presidential elections in July. This followed an interview with taxpayer subsidized Voice of America (VOA) and former Fox News reporter Greta Van Susteren in which he accused Russia of destabilizing actions all over the world. McMaster also claimed in response to a question from the audience that the Russians had meddled via social and news media in the Catalan independence referendum from NATO member Spain. The fact that French intelligence had declared after their presidential election that they saw no evidence of Russian state sponsored hacking of the Macron campaign and the Germans likewise detected no Russian hacks related to their federal vote this past year was not mentioned by McMaster. -- JWS

Mueller and Neocon Unilateralists Escalate Against Trump

Mueller and Neocon Unilateralists Escalate Against Trump

Dec. 22 -- The urgency of defeating the efforts of special counsel Robert Mueller to conduct a coup against elected U.S. President Trump, on behalf of British and Wall Street imperial interests, can be seen in the attempt by neocons both within the administration and outside, who insist that the U.S. must continue the policy of geopolitical confrontation with Russia and China, which was supported by his opponents.  In the last days, there are further indications that it is Trump's continuing commitment to strategic collaboration with Russia and China that precipitated "Russiagate," and not "meddling" in the U.S. election by Russian President Putin, nor "collusion" by Trump with Putin to steal the election, that has made him a target of unprecedented vitriolic attacks, lying media stories, and a corrupt "investigation" which his opponents hope will lead to his ouster.

Throughout the 2016 campaign, Trump aggressively targeted both the Bush Republicans and the Obama-Hillary Clinton Democrats as supporters of endless wars, which have resulted in millions of casualties and the waste of trillions of dollars, while America has become less safe.  He launched devastating attacks against the Bush administration, accusing President George W. Bush of "lying" to get the U.S. into a war with Iraq, and against Obama and Clinton, for the policy of "regime change" in Libya and the attempt to oust Syrian President Assad, at the risk of a war with Russia.  He also blasted the deployment of U.S. and NATO troops eastward, targeting Russia, saying he was convinced that it would be "great" if the U.S. and Russia would be friends and allies, especially in the war against terrorists.  He said at several campaign events that he would have no neocons in his administration.

The war-weary American people responded to his attacks on the neocon wars, by electing him President.  The neocons responded to his election by launching Russiagate!

With Turkey under Erdogan already shifting from NATO into the Eurasian camp and hosting a pan-Islamic conference rejecting the decision, and Washington's position more alienated from nearly all of its allies than ever before, are we headed for another regional war after the devastating Syria and Yemen conflicts? And will the U.S. get more involved in Yemen to bail out the failing counterinsurgency campaign of its weak ally, Saudi Arabia?

Keeping Victory In Our Sights as the British/Deep State Dossier Plot Against Trump Unravels

Keeping Victory In Our Sights as the British/Deep State Dossier Plot Against Trump Unravels

This week has seen extraordinary, linked developments in Washington and in global politics. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara and, stopping at the Kheimmim air base outside Latakia en route to Egypt and his meeting with President Sisi, declared victory alongside Syrian President Bashir al Assad over ISIS terrorists. With North Korea, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson declared his willingness to talk without preconditions in order to avert war over Pyongyang's nuclear and missile tests.

The effort to soft coup President Donald Trump which began while he was still a candidate with the Russiagate hoax and Clintons funded Steele Dossier is falling apart. This is happening despite Special Counsel Robert Mueller's indictments of former campaign chair Paul Manafort and retired DIA chief Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. The mainstream media is now complaining that Republicans are demanding an unreasonable standard of apolitical-ness from the overwhelmingly Democratic campaign contributing prosecutors Mueller has assembled. Whiny stories like this one in The Atlantic avoid the larger issue, of the Steele Dossier itself being a piece of garbage partisan oppo research which the troika of intel chiefs (James Clapper, John Brennan and James Comey) sought to 'legitimate', cynically leaking to the Trump loathing press while briefing the President elect on its salacious contents.

Washington Appears Determined to Scupper the JCPOA agreement

Washington Appears Determined to Scupper the JCPOA agreement

During the 2016 presidential campaign the glaring exception to Donald Trump's otherwise sensible foreign policy rhetoric compared to his warmongering opponent Hillary Rodham Clinton was Iran. Whether due to his personal proclivities, a strong base of pro-Israeli conservative Christian and Jewish supporters, or the influence of his own daughter and son-in-law, Trump declared the P5+1+EU and Iran on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) painstakingly hammered out during the Obama Administration "a bad deal".

Now it remains to be seen if the Trump White House is determined to fully tear up the agreement or if the U.S. even unilaterally has the power to do so against the wishes of not only its EU transatlantic partners and Turkey heavily invested in an opening Iranian economy, but also the Eurasian axis of Russia-China. -- JWS

BRICS Summit Points the Way Out

BRICS Summit Points the Way Out

The 2017 BRICS Summit held from September 3-5 is concluding today in Xiamen, China. Several hundred miles away across the Yellow Sea tensions on the Korean peninsula continue to escalate, with President Trump's fire-breathing UN Ambassador Nikki Haley declaring the Kim Jong Un regime to be "begging for war".

For Washington, avoiding a horrific second Korean War is impossible without cooperating with China and Russia. Yet the Trump Administration in a bid to appease neocons, legacy media critics and the deep state for whom it can never be tough enough on Moscow, continues to antagonize the Russian Federation through closures and FBI searches of diplomatic properties from San Francisco to Washington. Such diplomatic escalations cannot be sustained, unless the deep state's objective is to ultimately force Moscow into breaking off relations -- something that didn't even happen, thank God, at the height of the Cuban Missiles Crisis in October 1962. If that goal can be achieved, it would drastically heighten the risks of global thermonuclear war. -- JWS

Trump/Putin Post G20 -- Early Results

Trump/Putin Post G20 -- Early Results

RogueMoney reader 'DP' of Kansas emailed us asking the Russia Analyst's opinion of the first Trump/Putin meeting at the G20 in Hamburg. A week has passed, and we still haven't made up our minds -- is the glass half full, with real U.S.-Russia detente now possible as our friends Harley Schlanger and especially London Paul would suggest? Or is the glass half empty and broken spilling its contents to the floor, as our friend The Saker and his acquaintance former Assistant Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts concluded? The one thing that is certain -- since the ill-advised and false intelligence based Tomahawk missile strike on Syrian government forces in April, the Kremlin and Russian people can only evaluate the Trump Administration on the bases of actions, not words. Clearly, Putin and Trump spending four times their scheduled allotted time together at the G20 was a positive sign, and some would say, given the fits of Russophobic hysteria seizing Washington, a minor miracle. Now comes the follow up that will determine if Trump actually can deliver anything positive from the American side, or the first baby steps toward ending Cold War 2...
