Syrian War Report – AUGUST 14, 2019: SYRIAN ARMY REACHED KHAN SHAYKHUN

2019-08-14 at 2.51 PM.png

Government forces are developing their advance in the southern part of the Idlib de-escalation zone.

The Syrian military has deployed a new batch of reinforcements, including battle tanks from the 4th Armoured Division, to the frontline. According to pro-government sources, these reinforcements will take part in the ongoing Syrian Army offensive in northwestern Hama and southern Idlib.

On August 13, a firefights took place east of Sukayk, but no notable changes on the frontline took place. Syrian Army units made an attempt to capture Tel Tari, but the attack was repelled by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. In a separate development, government troops liberated Kafr Ayn.

An increased usage of anti-tank guided missiles was also reported.

On August 12, a Turkish military convoy accompanied by militants visited Tell Tuqan, Surman and Morek. According to local sources, Ankara is now actively working behind the scenes to rescue militants besieged in northern Hama.

The Syrian Army and its allies are preparing to capture Kafr Zita and Khan Shaykhun and cut off the rest of supply lines to the key militant stronghold of Lataminah.

The Syrian Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces continued their bombing campaign against militants’ infrastructure in the area. According to data released by the Russian Defense Ministry, the priority targets of the bombing campaign is underground hideouts, gatherings of military equipment and convoys of the terrorists.

10 villages in the Syrian province of Raqqah have signed a reconciliation agreement with the Damascus government, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said on August 12. According to the released report, the total population of the villages is around 20,000 people. The Russian Defense Ministry provided no further details regarding the development. The Syrian Democratic Forces and the US-led coalition have not commented on the situation yet.

Such developments are a notable blow to the US-led efforts to isolate the US-occupied, northwestern part of Syria from the rest of the country.

Pompeo Testifies, Affirms No Crimea Recognition, Neocon Senators Push Sanctions on Russian Sovereign Debt

Those who watched Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s testimony to the Senate on Wednesday about the content of the President’s meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin could be forgiven for thinking nothing has changed in U.S.-Russia relations. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), who is co-authoring legislation with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to increase sanctions against Russia including targeting investors in the Eurasian country’s sovereign bonds led the questioning of Pompeo.

To the Secretary of State’s credit, Pompeo defended Trump’s prerogative to meet one on one with Putin and just their translators in the room as hardly unprecedented for great power summits. He also emphasized that U.S. policy with regards to non-recognition of Crimea’s accession to the Russian Federation and the Ukraine sanctions had not changed as a result of the Trump-Putin meeting. What has changed is the deep state’s recognition of defeat in Syria and constructive talks between Moscow, Washington and Tel Aviv on ending the conflict in that country — despite the provocative Israeli shoot down of a Syrian Air Force jet along the Golan Heights.

Trump Derangement Syndrome in Full Meltdown After Helsinki Summit and Massive Tsarist Era Gold Shipwreck Reported in Far East

The following is a roundup of the @FinanceExaminer Ken “the Shotgun Professor” Schortgen Jr’s posts about the hysteria surrounding the Trump-Putin summit and the intriguing discovery of a Russo-Japanese war era shipwreck reportedly containing over $100 billion in gold bars. Even if the estimate of what can be salvaged from the Far Eastern waters proves overly optimistic, the shipwreck underlines the massive mineral wealth the Russian treasury possessed on the eve of World War I that Moscow’s historic enemies in the City of London coveted, and eventually plundered while using the mass murdering Bolsheviks as their agents. — JWS

Trump Is Going for Game-changing Solutions

Trump Is Going for Game-changing Solutions

President Donald Trump's insistence on a personal summit with Russian President Putin looks stronger than ever, with the welcome breakdown of the most violent opponent of that summit — and the center of geopolitical war schemes — the British government. Russian-American collaboration is central to the possible end to 25 years' perpetual "regime-change" wars and terrorism, allowing, then, the possibility of economic development spreading across South Asia and North Africa. Better, a four-power collaboration of America, Russia, India, and China can provide a new, non-geopolitical strategic framework for peace. Lyndon LaRouche showed already more than two decades ago that there is no reason for the existence of NATO, and that this four-power collaboration is the new basis for security and peace.

Trump expresses confidence at Montana rally ahead of summit meeting with Putin

Trump expresses confidence at Montana rally ahead of summit meeting with Putin

On Thursday July 5 President Trump spoke at a campaign rally for Matt Rosendale, a state auditor in Montana. Speaking to the crowd inside the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, Trump trolled critics who say he is unprepared for the upcoming summit in Helsinki or must not negotiate one on one with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin. “Putin’s fine,” Mr. Trump said. “He’s fine. We’re all fine. We’re people. Will I be prepared? Totally prepared. I’ve been preparing for this stuff my whole life.”

“Getting along with Russia, and getting along with China and getting along with other countries is a good thing,” he added, “not a bad thing.” Trump also said, regarding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) “We’re the schmucks that are paying for the whole thing”. If the speech as calculated to infuriate his establishment opponents, it did the trick. A meeting between several GOP United States Senators and their counterparts from Russia’s upper chamber, in which Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) declared that the two countries did not have to be adversaries, also drew hackles from the eternal Cold War waging Washington Post aka Pravda on the Potomac.

Russians know the Arab expression ‘dogs bark but the caravan moves on’. Despite the latest absurd novichok theatrics in the (dis)United Kingdom, the Trump-Putin summit is on for July 16 — one day before the fourth anniversary of the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 false flag shoot down. For those who follow ‘QAnon’ posts and esoterica in general, the renegade American President meeting his Russian counterpart on the 100th anniversary of Tsar Nicholas II and the Royal Passion Bearers martyrdom at the hands of the Bolsheviks is also highly significant. Why? Because the original and bloodiest Color Revolution sponsored by Wall Street and the City of London was the Red one…

Another pre-Helsinki summit provocation? “A British counter-terrorism unit has joined the probe after a man and woman were apparently exposed to an “unknown substance” near Salisbury, London police say, as quoted by Reuters and AFP.” — RT.com

July 2, 2018 (EIRNS)—Today Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, “No doubt, Moscow and Washington have many issues where their positions are diametrically opposed. But you see that now political resolve has prevailed, and at the moment, understanding is growing that such issues for discussion should not be an obstacle on the path to establishing and expanding bilateral dialogue, in this case at the top level.”

Peskov was referring to the July 16 Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki, TASS reported. However, he took issue with President Trump’s statement that he planned to discuss Crimea with President Putin there. Peskov emphasized that Moscow considers recognizing Crimea as Russian is non-negotiable.

Syraq SITREP 60: Putin and Trump Plan Syria Talks at Helsinki Summit, Neocons Claim Kremlin and Iran Plotting Attacks on U.S. Troops

The Syrian Arab Army is achieving rapid advances as part of Operation Basalt. Many ‘Free Syrian Army’ militants are surrendering without a fight, and a few have joined in the pro-government forces offensive against the Al-Qaeda linked jihadists. According to CNN, President Trump told King Abdullah during their meeting last week in Washington that he intends to strike a deal with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin to facilitate the withdrawal of American troops from the Al Tanf area bordering Jordan and Iraq. U.S. backed Kurdish fighters recently clashed with pro-government militias near the extensive deconfliction line the Americans enforce around their illegal under international law base. The Russian Defense Ministry has complained the Americans use al-Tanf to harbor and re-train former ISIS terrorists.

Naturally, The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board and reporters are disturbed, while the neocons are enraged that Trump would make any concessions to the Russians. But Trump reportedly intends to demand — in return for a phased American withdrawal — the complete exit of Iranian, Hezbollah and pro-Iranian Shi’a foreign fighters from Syria. Even with the great prestige Russia enjoys among its Syrian allies and frenemies in the Turks alike, it isn’t clear Putin can deliver on this demand. Damascus has hosted at least a few Iranian military advisers since the early 1980s.

Also, the prospect of a false flag operation, either against U.S. troops or a chemical attack on Syrian civilians to be blamed on Assad, is not to be taken lightly. If the globalists cannot stop the Trump-Putin summit now set for July 16 in the Finnish capital Helsinki, the neocons appear hellbent on spoiling or blocking any positive outcomes from it…

Trump-Putin Summit Can Change the World — Emerging Fascist Force Wants To Stop It

Trump-Putin Summit Can Change the World — Emerging Fascist Force Wants To Stop It

National Security Adviser John Bolton, the ultra-hawkish neocon whose appointment in April 2018 alternatively mystified or frustrated Trump’s America First base, was ironically the President’s messenger to the Kremlin. Meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 27, Bolton accepted Putin’s congratulations on North America being awarded the 2026 World Cup. During a press conference at Interfax news agency’s Moscow offices on Wednesday, Bolton acknowledged the (bogus) claim of Russian meddling in the 2016 election would be discussed at the summit, but said little else on the subject. The finalized agenda with Trump meeting Putin in Helsinki, Finland on July 15 — a date which would allow Putin to return to Moscow for the World Cup finale — is expected to be announced by the White House on Thursday.

The response to this hopeful development has been predictable screeching and howls of outrage by #TheResistance on Twitter and members of the former Obama Administration. Somehow in 2018 after decades of Cold War liberals promoting the value of dialogue to ease tensions with Moscow, any direct talks between leaders of the world’s top two nuclear powers is said by ‘progressives’ to be absurd if not treasonous. As LaRouchePAC makes clear in the short article below, it’s no accident the Trump Administration is being attacked over immigration even as it makes peace on the Korean peninsula and to fulfill the President’s campaign promise of detente with Russia. When you see retired CIA/NSA (and oath to uphold the Constitution violating) director Gen. Michael Hayden cynically evoke the specter of Nazism to attack the Administration over its handling of border issues, you know the globalist deep state is getting desperate — and appealing to the abysmal ignorance of #TheResistance regarding which nation sacrificed more than any other to destroy Hitler’s Third Reich. — JWS

The Sirius Report with London Paul 06-21-2018

London Paul joins RogueMoneyRadio from the Netherlands where he is on summer holiday to discuss the absurdities of the U.S.-China trade war. Paul discusses how Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) into the USA plummeted starting in the last quarter of 2017 through the first half of 2018. Paul also mentions the strong likelihood of Chinese citizen boycotts at the behest of their government directed against American brands like Apple or Starbucks.

Turning to the Middle East, Paul talks about why the U.S. will eventually have no choice but to pull out of Syria, where ‘deescalation zones’ with aggressively enforced American perimeters around bases like al-Tanf have been used to harbor Daesh terrorists. Paul makes it clear Damascus and the Russians have had enough of these games being played by the neocons, and are moving forward to clear out jihadists up to the Golan Heights line of control facing Israel. — JWS

Syraq SITREP 58: Mattis Vows U.S. Will Stay in Syria Indefinitely, SAA Preparing Dara’a, Quneitra Offensive

NOTE: This is our 58th Syraq SITREP written for RogueMoney. Barring any major U.S. or Israeli strikes in Syria, the Russian Analyst plans to publish fewer Syraq SITREPs on RM this summer.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is preparing for a major offensive to liberate the southern part of the country from jihadists who serve as a buffer between Damascus southern outskirts and the Israeli occupied Golan Heights. This offensive will be led by the SAA’s elite Tiger Forces commanded by Brigadier General Suheil Hassan (portrayed with Russian airpower art on the left) and the 4th Armored Division.

However, Islamic State remnants which have been attacking across the Euphrates River from territory nominally controlled by the U.S. and its Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) allies forced the SAA to delay the big push south. Syrian government forces have beaten back Daesh at Abu Kamal, a city that borders Iraq’s Al-Qaim which is the overland linkage between Damascus and friendly forces from Baghdad. SAA units also went on the offensive against ISIS in the southeastern Badiya Al-Sham region, killing over 20 Daesh terrorists near Sweida. But SAA fighting with ISIS units operating from American controlled territory continues.

Speaking on Friday at a NATO forum in Brussels, Defense Secretary James Mattis vowed to keep U.S. occupation forces in Syria indefinitely after the elimination of the remaining ISIS pockets along the Syrian-Iraqi border, saying a hasty withdrawal of American troops would be a “strategic blunder”.

No More Doubt: It’s the U.K., not Russia, that Meddled in the U.S. Elections

The transformation of “Russiagate” into “Spygate”, underscores that it was the United Kingdom, through its various intelligence units that "meddled" in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections. The mainstream U.S. media are attempting to cover-up for that operation, by reducing "Spygate" to a semantic debate over whether deploying operatives into the Trump campaign is "spying", "infiltration," a necessary defense against Russian aggression, or a figment of Trump's “paranoia”. The story is complicated, but enough facts have now emerged, that it can be stated definitively, that there was a joint operation by Anglo-American intelligence, designed to entrap Trump campaign officials, through a classic "sting" operation.

Key to this are three operatives with ties to the CIA, FBI and MI6 — Joseph Mifsud, Alexander Downer and Stefan Halper. These three were deployed to manipulate low-level Trump officials Carter Page and George Papadopoulos into believing they would be working with Russian intelligence networks, which wanted to help Trump, to establish links which could then be cited as channels of Russian influence into the Trump campaign.

Syraq SITREP 56: Russian Casualties from ISIS Attack, Israel-Iran Negotiations Via Jordan

Syraq SITREP 56: Russian Casualties from ISIS Attack, Israel-Iran Negotiations Via Jordan

At least four Russian military advisers are dead and several wounded after an ISIS attack on a Syrian Arab Army position in a government controlled part of Deir Ez Zor province. RT.com reports the Russian Defense Ministry said 43 Daesh terrorists and six vehicles used by the attackers were destroyed. Additional details about the attack were not provided, but the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (one guy living over a shop in Coventry, UK) claimed that nine Russian soldiers died in the hour long firefight.

Prior to the fight this weekend, the SAA had been moving troops freed up from the defeat of jihadist pockets around Damascus to clean out the remaining ISIS remnants in the Homs desert. ISIS may have received reinforcements of its own from several hundred militants who escaped before the south and east Damascus encirclement. The likely response of the Russian forces will be more air strikes guided by spetsnaz units to hunt down the remaining terrorists. We can likely expect to see more Iraqi Air Force strikes on Daesh units in territory nominally controlled by the Americans as part of their temporary demarcation along the Euphrates agreement with the Russians. Moscow’s Defense Ministry is also likely to reproach the Americans for not doing enough against the common ISIS terrorist enemy, who noticeably leaves U.S. and French bases in the Kurdish dominated areas alone.

Syraq SITREP 55: IAF Strikes Hezbollah Shi'a Foreign Fighters Training Base as US Warns Damascus Against Liberating Southwestern Territory Close to Jordan and Israel

Syraq SITREP 55: IAF Strikes Hezbollah Shi'a Foreign Fighters Training Base as US Warns Damascus Against Liberating Southwestern Territory Close to Jordan and Israel

On Thursday May 24, Israeli warplanes launched standoff missiles, reportedly killing twelve pro-government foreign fighters stationed between the towns of Boukamal and Hmeimeh in Deir el-Zour province. Syrian media initially blamed the U.S. for the air strike, raising fears that pro-Damascus forces were again clashing with the American backed Kurds in the Euphrates Valley as during the notorious (and wildly inflated Russian ‘Wagner mercenary’ casualties) battle of the Conoco gas field on February 6-7, 2018. But the Coalition denied Syrian and Hezbollah media reports of its involvement and the Russians clarified that no American units were involved.

The most likely explanation for the confusion is that Israeli Air Force (IAF) F15I jets were once again using U.S. transponder signals, which only the Russians would be able to distinguish on radar from U.S. Air Force F15Es. ISIS had been carrying out hit and run attacks in the Homs desert on the same day and the following days, drawing SAA reinforcements to the area.

Days after the IAF had boasted of using the stealthy F35 Adir in combat for the first time, Dabaa airbase in Homs province, no longer used by the Syrian Arab Air Force but known as a training ground for Hezbollah and its Iranian allied Iraqi/Afghan Shi’a fighters, was also hit by a several missiles. Syrian air defense forces claim to have shot down some of the incoming projectiles, and video was posted online of Syria’s old S200 SAMs firing into the night skies. After Damascus victoriously ended seven years of fighting in and around the Syrian capital, the Trump Administration warned the Syrians not to advance on the deescalation zone in Deraa, the ‘cradle of the revolution’ where jihadists are still providing Israel with a small buffer zone.

Washington's 12 point demands to Iran look eerily like Austro-Hungary's demands to Serbia in 1914 where both were doomed to fail

The Trump administration laid out a new and 'upgraded' Iran deal on May 21 which would facilitate the U.S. getting back on board with what they stepped away from when the President 'tore up' the previous agreement engineered by Barack Obama.  And perhaps what is most interesting is that the upgrades appear to actually be meant to fail as the entire scheme looks eerily similar to what Austro-Hungary did to Serbia back in 1914 following the assassination of the Arch-Duke.

The British and “Christian” Hand in the Gaza Slaughter

The British and “Christian” Hand in the Gaza Slaughter

This week LaRouchePAC.com takes on a topic which for many Bible believing Americans as well as secular Jews who fear the “Christian Right”’s influence is a touchy subject — the role of Christian Zionism in support of destructive Israeli policies. Conditions that have been enabled by decades of ignorance and occasionally, the deliberate indifference of many Evangelical Christians to the fate of the Mideast churches, suffering under the Israeli military occupation of the West Bank (less severe than the prison-like conditions Palestinian Muslims and Christians alike are subject to in Gaza) and far worse, an attempted genocide at the hands of jihadists sponsored by the State of Israel and its Saudi ally’s proxies in Syria. This followed the mass emigration of Iraqi Christians particularly Assyrians due to the violence triggered by the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq and subsequent spawn of ISIS that sought to eradicate Christianity and the Yazidi sect on the Nineveh plain where the Bible says the prophet Jonah preached repentance.

While Democrats beat the drums for hostilities against Russia, even as they hypocritically pose as peacemakers to defend the nuclear deal reached by the Obama Administration with Tehran (but never ratified as a treaty by Congress); President Trump has the Republicans veering toward overt war against Iran. Or at least, a serious confrontation with Iran’s Lebanese Hezbollah and Yemeni Houthi allies. With weak, incredibly indebted economies already showing signs of strain before oil prices create pain at the pump, neither the Democrat nor the Republican position can lead to a positive outcome for Americans. Due to Moscow’s alliance with Tehran in Syria and China’s objection to any aggression against Iranian territory, both parties current foreign policy agendas can lead to great power war if they remain unchecked by the American people…or by U.S. European and Asian allies mustering the will to say not just no, but hell no to Washington’s arm twisting.

Syraq SITREP 53: Can Putin and Bibi Cut a Face Saving Deal to End Israeli Attacks On Syria?

Syraq SITREP 53: Can Putin and Bibi Cut a Face Saving Deal to End Israeli Attacks On Syria?

The situation in the Levant appears to be spiraling downward toward full scale war between Iran’s Syrian and Hezbollah allies and Israel. Tel Aviv has cited an Iranian military presence in the war-torn nation as a pretext to launch continuous attacks. Not only Israel’s Air Force but the Iron Dome defense system and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) artillery were engaged after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) retaliated for multiple IAF strikes inside Syria last week.

The clashes initiated from the Israeli side, which the ‘international community’ aka the NATO/Gulf Arab states bloc blamed on Iran, came hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Victory Day ‘Immortal Regiment’ march alongside Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The symbolism of a Russian leader jointly commemorating the Soviet victory over the Nazis with the PM of the Jewish State was not lost on anyone, especially after a report in Izvestia that no S300 missile systems would be delivered to the Syrians (though this report did not rule out that the systems have been covertly shipped to the Russian base at Kheimmim for safe storage from IAF missiles next to Russian troops).

What quid pro quo between the two world leaders led to this controversial Kremlin decision was the subject of widespread speculation among Russia watchers and academics with an interest in the complex Moscow-Tel Aviv relationship. A bilateral engagement tested by being on opposite sides of the Syria War, yet (as we wrote back in late 2015) bound by shared interests in eastern Mediterranean pipeline gas, Jewish Russian re-pats returning from Israel to Moscow, and the Russian Orthodox Church’s historic role in the Holy Land. Due to the late and post Soviet emigration, after the three official languages of Hebrew, Arabic and English, Russian is Israel’s unofficial fourth language.

Syraq SITREP 52: Beating the War Drums, Bibi to Moscow for Victory Day and S300 Ambiguity

Syraq SITREP 52: Beating the War Drums, Bibi to Moscow for Victory Day and S300 Ambiguity

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s staff have confirmed to The Jerusalem Post that he will be in Moscow for the May 9th Victory Day holiday. In a sign that Vladimir Putin is seeking to deescalate tensions between Moscow and Tel Aviv, the Kremlin announced the Israeli PM had been invited to join Putin as an honored guest for the annual military parade through Red Square. A parade that will feature new Russian hardware on MiG31 jets like the Khinzhal hypersonic missile, designed to render American missile defenses obsolete.

Is this diplomacy evidence that Russia is a paper tiger, as the Anglo-American neocons contend, meekly accepting whatever the Israelis choose to dish out against its allies in Syria? Are the Kremlinologists correct that with the recently announced 20% defense spending cuts and rumored appointment of pro-Western globalist ‘cabal’ friendly liberals like Alexei Kudrin to the new presidential cabinet, Moscow is turning inward and seeking to appease the Americans and Israelis? Or is Putin calmly explaining to Bibi behind closed doors that Moscow cannot be responsible for the consequences, should he continue to recklessly provoke the Iranians and their (feared by the Israeli Defense Forces) Hezbollah allies?

Further Chemical Weapons Attack Provocation Planned In Syria?

A source, with connections to Special Forces in Syria, has alleged that militants are planning a chemical weapons provocation, near an American base in Deir ez-Zor region, with the cooperation of US intelligence forces in this operation. “US security services are planning provocations with the use of prohibited substances in Syria. The operation is led by a former militant of the Islamic State, Mishan Idris Hamash. The aim is to stage a chemical attack against civilians to be further spread in the media,” the source was reported as saying.

According to this source, the preparations began on April 23rd, whereby civilians are being shipped to the vicinity of the Jafra oil field to participate in a staged filming of a chemical weapons attack.

The Empire Based in London Won't Give Up: They Must, and Can Be Defeated

The Empire Based in London Won't Give Up: They Must, and Can Be Defeated

Some very interesting things happened headed into this weekend in Washington as the soft coup against President Donald Trump continues to unravel. First and foremost, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III questioned whether special counsel Robert Mueller exceeded the remit of his investigation into supposed Russian meddling in the 2016 election, by indicting Paul Manafort for alleged money laundering and failing to register as a foreign agent for Ukraine — offenses that took place well before Manafort briefly served as Trump’s campaign chairman. In unusually scathing language, the judge asked whether Mueller’s indictments were simply a legal pretext to compel Manafort into testifying against Trump. While any ruling by Ellis in favor of Manafort’s petition to dismiss the charges will surely be appealed, the mainstream media hyped impeccability and competency of Mueller’s investigation was ripped to shreds by a Reagan appointed federal judge who’s served on the bench for decades.

More relevant to the D.C. swamp creatures who waged a vendetta of leaks and laundering fraudulent opposition research paid for by the Clinton camp and produced by a British spy into the U.S. intelligence agencies, the Democrat-friendly Time magazine had to admit a pending report from Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz is hanging like a thundercloud over an increasingly frustrated if not demoralized FBI. Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is facing charges of lying to investigators while trying to blame subordinates for the media leaks he coordinated, in order to distract attention from his wife accepting campaign cash from a Clinton operative. Speaking of lying to the FBI, the charge retired Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) director and briefly serving ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn plead guilty to, in testimony by then Director James Comey freshly released by Congressional Republicans, Comey doubted that Flynn actually sought to deceive federal agents. The topic of questioning at that time being Flynn’s perfectly legal and authorized by the incoming administration (and 100% recorded by the FBI and NSA) phone conversations with the then Russian Ambassador Sergey Kisylak. In other words, even though Flynn plead guilty and began cooperating with Mueller’s team after facing financial ruin, President Trump now has a stronger case for pardoning the general (whose son Mike Flynn Jr. maintains his innocence).
