Pompeo Testifies, Affirms No Crimea Recognition, Neocon Senators Push Sanctions on Russian Sovereign Debt

Those who watched Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s testimony to the Senate on Wednesday about the content of the President’s meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin could be forgiven for thinking nothing has changed in U.S.-Russia relations. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), who is co-authoring legislation with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to increase sanctions against Russia including targeting investors in the Eurasian country’s sovereign bonds led the questioning of Pompeo.

To the Secretary of State’s credit, Pompeo defended Trump’s prerogative to meet one on one with Putin and just their translators in the room as hardly unprecedented for great power summits. He also emphasized that U.S. policy with regards to non-recognition of Crimea’s accession to the Russian Federation and the Ukraine sanctions had not changed as a result of the Trump-Putin meeting. What has changed is the deep state’s recognition of defeat in Syria and constructive talks between Moscow, Washington and Tel Aviv on ending the conflict in that country — despite the provocative Israeli shoot down of a Syrian Air Force jet along the Golan Heights.

After the Helsinki Summit, Trump Threatens Iran in ALL CAPS tweet

After the Helsinki Summit, Trump Threatens Iran in ALL CAPS tweet

A week has passed since the Trump-Putin summit, and a RogueMoney reader asked me for my thoughts on the outcome. Rather than give the stock answer of ‘it’s too soon to say’, I thought I’d do what analysts do and emphasize the knowns, then contrast those with the greater part that remain ‘known unknowns’ in the ongoing negotiations to defuse Cold War II (or more accurately, to revive the USA’s geoeconomic fortunes because Kissingerian realists in Washington realized by 2016 fighting Russia, China and Iran all at once while dominating the EU, Japan and the Koreas was no longer feasible). The problem with this traditional analytical framework including labels like ‘realism’ vs. neo-conservativism, is that Trump defies easy characterization.

On the one hand, Trump appears to sincerely want to improve U.S.-Russia relations because he has taken more heat for this than any other aspect of his platform, culminating in this week’s insane allegations that he has committed ‘treason’ by questioning the ‘intelligence community’ finding that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections in support of his candidacy. On the other hand, on Sunday night Trump escalated his anti-Iran rhetoric, hours after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) delivered a speech in southern California calling for a 1980s Reaganesque policy of rollback against the Islamic Republic.

"The President Trump Europeans Do Not Know" Roger Stone's video address to the June 30-July 1, 2018 Schiller Institute conference at Bad Soden (near Frankfurt), Germany

Roger J. Stone Jr. was unable to attend the recent international Schiller Institute conference in Bad Soden, Germany, but spoke to attendees via video conference. The reason Stone is limited in his travel budget and time these days is Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s witch hunt against President Trump, launched to block any shift against a policy of permanent Cold War II against Russia and China. Stone’s friend and former lobbying colleague Paul Manafort is being held in Virginia federal solitary confinement 23 hours a day — a vindictive measure not justified by any conduct or threat posed by or to the 69-year-old, issued as a punishment for Manafort refusing to bear false witness against Donald Trump or his former campaign associates.

We’re proud to say Stone was a guest on the RogueMoneyRadio program back in March 2016, when hardly anyone in the legacy media gave Donald Trump any chance of defeating the Clintons well oiled political machine. Thanks to Harley Schlanger and the Schiller Institute, RogueMoney is re-posting the video of Stone’s remarks and a transcript below. You can watch more of the webcast here. — JWS

Trump expresses confidence at Montana rally ahead of summit meeting with Putin

Trump expresses confidence at Montana rally ahead of summit meeting with Putin

On Thursday July 5 President Trump spoke at a campaign rally for Matt Rosendale, a state auditor in Montana. Speaking to the crowd inside the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, Trump trolled critics who say he is unprepared for the upcoming summit in Helsinki or must not negotiate one on one with Russian President Vladimir V. Putin. “Putin’s fine,” Mr. Trump said. “He’s fine. We’re all fine. We’re people. Will I be prepared? Totally prepared. I’ve been preparing for this stuff my whole life.”

“Getting along with Russia, and getting along with China and getting along with other countries is a good thing,” he added, “not a bad thing.” Trump also said, regarding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) “We’re the schmucks that are paying for the whole thing”. If the speech as calculated to infuriate his establishment opponents, it did the trick. A meeting between several GOP United States Senators and their counterparts from Russia’s upper chamber, in which Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) declared that the two countries did not have to be adversaries, also drew hackles from the eternal Cold War waging Washington Post aka Pravda on the Potomac.

Russians know the Arab expression ‘dogs bark but the caravan moves on’. Despite the latest absurd novichok theatrics in the (dis)United Kingdom, the Trump-Putin summit is on for July 16 — one day before the fourth anniversary of the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 false flag shoot down. For those who follow ‘QAnon’ posts and esoterica in general, the renegade American President meeting his Russian counterpart on the 100th anniversary of Tsar Nicholas II and the Royal Passion Bearers martyrdom at the hands of the Bolsheviks is also highly significant. Why? Because the original and bloodiest Color Revolution sponsored by Wall Street and the City of London was the Red one…

Nunes Urges Committee Heads To Subpoena Obama/British Agents Behind Russiagate

July 3, 2018 (EIRNS)—Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has urged two fellow committee chairmen to subpoena a total of 27 former Obama administration White House, FBI, and State Department officials to testify before their committees, related to potential surveillance abuse during the 2016 election, as well as the State Department’s role in promoting the Steele dossier.

As reported by both the Washington Examiner and Daily Caller, in June 29 and July 2 letters to Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and Bob Goodlatte, chairmen of the House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary committee, respectively, Nunes said that his committee discovered matters “that likely fall within the purview of the joint task force of the Committees on Oversight and Government Reform and the Judiciary,” and refers to the list of people “who may have relevant information.”

Forget the Punditry; the IG’s Report is a Bombshell

On June 15, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his 565-page report on the FBI and Justice Department Hillary Clinton email investigation. President Trump and various supporters have expressed outrage that Horowitz did not go further in frying former FBI Director James Comey or declaring the obvious political bias he otherwise documents in the the Clinton investigation. These are legitimate issues and there is a legitimate question as to whether Horowitz softened the language in his report because of Justice Department pushback. These issues will be fully explored when the IG testifies in Congressional hearings next week. Nonetheless, the report is a bombshell even if written in carefully parsed Justice Department lawyer language. If we were not in the middle of an insurrection against the Trump presidency, it would cause an immediate halt to Robert Mueller’s investigation.

The Empire Based in London Won't Give Up: They Must, and Can Be Defeated

The Empire Based in London Won't Give Up: They Must, and Can Be Defeated

Some very interesting things happened headed into this weekend in Washington as the soft coup against President Donald Trump continues to unravel. First and foremost, U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III questioned whether special counsel Robert Mueller exceeded the remit of his investigation into supposed Russian meddling in the 2016 election, by indicting Paul Manafort for alleged money laundering and failing to register as a foreign agent for Ukraine — offenses that took place well before Manafort briefly served as Trump’s campaign chairman. In unusually scathing language, the judge asked whether Mueller’s indictments were simply a legal pretext to compel Manafort into testifying against Trump. While any ruling by Ellis in favor of Manafort’s petition to dismiss the charges will surely be appealed, the mainstream media hyped impeccability and competency of Mueller’s investigation was ripped to shreds by a Reagan appointed federal judge who’s served on the bench for decades.

More relevant to the D.C. swamp creatures who waged a vendetta of leaks and laundering fraudulent opposition research paid for by the Clinton camp and produced by a British spy into the U.S. intelligence agencies, the Democrat-friendly Time magazine had to admit a pending report from Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz is hanging like a thundercloud over an increasingly frustrated if not demoralized FBI. Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is facing charges of lying to investigators while trying to blame subordinates for the media leaks he coordinated, in order to distract attention from his wife accepting campaign cash from a Clinton operative. Speaking of lying to the FBI, the charge retired Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) director and briefly serving ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn plead guilty to, in testimony by then Director James Comey freshly released by Congressional Republicans, Comey doubted that Flynn actually sought to deceive federal agents. The topic of questioning at that time being Flynn’s perfectly legal and authorized by the incoming administration (and 100% recorded by the FBI and NSA) phone conversations with the then Russian Ambassador Sergey Kisylak. In other words, even though Flynn plead guilty and began cooperating with Mueller’s team after facing financial ruin, President Trump now has a stronger case for pardoning the general (whose son Mike Flynn Jr. maintains his innocence).

The Empire Is Crumbling, But Not Dead, and Desperate for War

The Empire Is Crumbling, But Not Dead, and Desperate for War

Let us review: Every effort by the British to bring down the government of the United States under President Donald Trump has failed. MI6 agent Christopher Steele's dodgy dossier now stands exposed as the only basis for the launching of Trumpgate by the corrupt Obama intelligence team, and the perpetrators are themselves now facing criminal prosecution; the Skripal case has disappeared from the media, as the connections to the same Christopher Steele were coming to the fore; the Syrian chemical weapons fraud concocted by the British-run White Helmets has now been exposed internationally as a Nazi-like staged affair to justify a military assault. That assault, in which Trump was tricked into going along with the British and the French, effectively declared that the international law established after World War II, through the United Nations, to prevent another world war, was dead.

The Empire will not go quietly into the night. Bibi Netanyahu's antics — claiming "proof" that Iran is still developing nuclear weapons — is being ridiculed even by former Israeli intelligence officials as re-packaged news, already known by the IAEA, and proving nothing. But the British have always used the Israeli right-wing, and the Saudi Royal family, to provoke divisions and, when necessary, to start wars. With Trump having cooperated with Putin in defeating ISIS in Syria, and swearing that he wants to get the U.S. out of Syria altogether and "stop being the world's policeman," the British are desperately pulling every possible string to drag the U.S. into more wars.

The U.S. Constitution Is At Stake Now, And So Is World War III

The U.S. Constitution Is At Stake Now, And So Is World War III

It does not matter whether 10 Rod Rosensteins at the Department of Justice "signed off" on the sweeping FBI raids against President Trump's personal attorney; the protections of the Fourth and Sixth Amendments to the United States Constitution are being taken away from the American President. The goal is to remove the President from office; and the immediate aim, and extreme danger, is war with Syria and Russia.

The United States Constitution is being set aside in order to seize foreign policy, and the Oval Office itself, from President Trump, and put the United States back on the "permanent war,"/"regime-change war" status of Bush and Obama. The American voters are being left to watch helplessly — unless they act now, in large numbers.

Russiagate and Ukraine: How the Mueller Investigation Heightens the War Danger

Russiagate and Ukraine: How the Mueller Investigation Heightens the War Danger

Posted by Harley Schlanger on March 04, 2018

March 2—It is not exactly a secret that so-called neo-conservatives in the U.S. State Department and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), in conjunction with "left-wing" speculator and City of London operative George Soros, collaborated in the regime change coup in Ukraine in February 2014, which overthrew the democratically-elected government of Viktor Yanukovic. Former Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs, the unabashed neocon Victoria Nuland, bragged that the U.S. and related agencies, such as the NED, spent $5 billion to lay the groundwork for the coup.

What is not generally known, however, due to the lying coverage in the Trans-Atlantic "Fake News" media, is that included in this unholy alliance of coup plotters were armed militia units made up of neo-Nazis, who were responsible for the bloodshed on Maidan Square in Kiev, and which threatened the ethnic Russians, which constitute the majority of the population in the eastern Ukraine regions of Donetsk and Luhansk. The lie that there was no neo-Nazi involvement has been maintained, despite ample evidence to the contrary, including interviews with militants pronouncing admiration for Hitler's collaborators in the Bandera movement in Ukraine during World War II, when Ukrainian units murdered ethnic Poles, Russians, and other "non-Ukrainians", including Ukrainian Jews. The armed "Banderistas" and related thugs have been incorporated into the security apparatus of the Kiev regime, and continue to march in the halls of Parliament and on the streets, under banners with pictures of Bandera, the Nazi collaborator, and symbols going back to their alliance with the Nazi SS.

British Empire’s Russiagate Operation In Open Disarray

British Empire’s Russiagate Operation In Open Disarray

Feb. 20, 2018 (EIRNS)—The coup crowd is pretty much making things up as they go. Indicative is Rep. Adam Schiff’s response to Robert Mueller’s indictment of the 13 Russians, to he effect of: well, this set of indictments may not have shown Trump "collusion," but just you wait—maybe the next ones will.

The Boston Herald today joined the New York Times and Yale Law School’s Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic in calling for the FISA court to declassify the Obama administration’s application for a surveillance order on Carter Page and the FISA Court order, wishfully hoping that the Steele dossier was not the only basis for the surveillance order. In any case, the Herald editorial staff concluded:

"To continue to keep the FBI’s warrant application secret at this point and in a case where there is intense public interest is counterproductive. It’s high time for a dose of sunlight on this case."

Forget the Ham Sandwich, Indict Piroshki: To Keep Russiagate Alive, Mueller Indicts 13 'Internet Research Center' Russians

Forget the Ham Sandwich, Indict Piroshki: To Keep Russiagate Alive, Mueller Indicts 13 'Internet Research Center' Russians

After weeks of the Russiagate Narrative losing momentum, with the Obama Justice Department's use of a British spook's made-up dossier as justification to spy on the Trump campaign and CIA director John Brennan and FBI agents' perjury under investigation by GOP led Congressional committees, the Empire behind Special Counsel Robert Mueller struck back. On Friday Mueller's office issued an indictment of thirteen Russian citizens. Conveniently for the Russiagate Narrative, none of the indicted Russians likely will ever see the inside of a U.S. court room or have the opportunity to debunk the prosecution.

Nonetheless, with nothing burger short order cook Mueller having produced little more than confessions to lying to the FBI and indictments of Paul Manafort for alleged money laundering predating Manafort's work for the Trump campaign, the legacy media leaped on the news like a pack of starving hounds. They were joined by the entire Washington and media establishment, with some Congressmen like Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) comparing an alleged trolling and impersonation operation to the Imperial Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor.

The evidence of Russian meddling in the U.S. election is now 'incontrovertible', according to White House National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster -- who would later be subtly rebuked by his nominal boss, the President of the United States, on Twitter. The press claimed that Donald Trump had labeled all Russian disinfo efforts a 'hoax', even though Trump insisted he was referring to the Democrats and neocon #NeverTrump ers accusations against him or his campaign of collusion (whatever that means) with Russia. And Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein stated during his press conference that the 37 page indictment did not present any evidence of witting American cooperation with the Internet Research Center's political trolling. However, the latest product of Mueller's team full of prosecutorial hacks is worse than a crime -- it's a farce. Not only on the basis of its shaky, free speech violating legal theory regarding what constitutes illegal foreign influence over political outcomes in the United States, but also in its 'overwhelming' yet shoddy and easily faked evidence. Allow the Russian Analyst to explain...

Russiagate Battle Intensifies

Russiagate Battle Intensifies

January 12 -- “The single greatest Witch Hunt in American history continues. There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes. Russia & the world is laughing at the stupidity they are witnessing....”

This tweet, from Donald Trump, was sent out on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, nearly a year after his inauguration as President of the United States.  Trump's frustration, evident in this tweet, is legitimate.  For more than a year, the major media in the U.S. have echoed the line of former President Obama's intelligence officials, who claimed, with no evidence to back them up, that Russia's President Putin "meddled" in the 2016 U.S. Presidential campaign, and that Trump "colluded" with Putin, to gain his victory.  A special counsel, Robert Mueller, was appointed, indictments unrelated to meddling and collusion have been handed down, and now the special counsel is hinting that he wants to interview the President directly, hoping that he can set him up, as they did Michael Flynn, to convict him of lying.  Democrats in the House of Representatives have already filed a bill of impeachment -- which was defeated resoundingly -- but say there will be many more, until their goal, of removing Trump, is achieved.

A Plan To Defeat A Coup, And Join A New Paradigm Of Economic Progress

A Plan To Defeat A Coup, And Join A New Paradigm Of Economic Progress

The LaRouche Political Action Committee is issuing two mass-circulation documents during December, to defeat the coup against President Trump, and to realize — and go beyond — the economic policies Americans thought he stood for during last year's campaign.

Today the second mass printing of the dossier, "Robert Mueller Is an Amoral Legal Assassin: He'll Do His Job If You Let Him" began to go out; it will hit Washington, D.C. and the whole country by Friday. The first mass issue of that dossier has succeeded in turning the spotlight, and the heat, on the political agenda of an attempted coup against Trump which began with British Intelligence, and is using Mueller as its weapon. It is being exposed now, day after day, in Congressional hearings and even in some of the media which were acting as part of that coup just weeks ago.

The 10,000 new dossiers now out in print, and its Internet impact, must finish off that coup, including Mueller's so-called "investigation."

Where We Stand: LaRouchePAC Statement on the Flynn Plea

Where We Stand: LaRouchePAC Statement on the Flynn Plea

This week's news that retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn accepted a plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller over misstatements to FBI agents sent the mainstream media and social media into a frenzy. But presidential transition team diplomacy over which Flynn admitted to misleading FBI agents speaking by phone with then Russian Ambassador Sergey Kisylak was entirely legal. Prior to Trump's election, such authorized (and acknowledged at the time by the State Department!) transition diplomacy would've never been criminalized by agents attempting to trip up presidential aides under questioning -- or Democrats hellbent on pushing the laughable line of Logan Act violations.

Why Flynn chose to mislead FBI investigators, and whether he initially denied elements of what he had to know were NSA/FBI recorded conversations with the Russian Ambassador to protect presidential son in law Jared Kushner or Vice President Mike Pence's public or private statements, remains unknown to the public. What we do know is that the lead FBI investigator reporting directly to since fired director James Comey and his Clintons-compromised deputy Andrew McCabe was rabidly anti-Trump. Peter Strzok sent texts bashing the then candidate in order to impress his mistress Lisa Page, who happened to be the highly partisan Democrat McCabe's secretary. This weekend's disclosure months after Strzok's reassignment led to Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) threatening present director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein with contempt of Congress citations, as both had stonewalled written oversight requests for why Strzok had been dropped from Mueller's team. Nunes and many fellow Congressional Republicans are also demanding to know whether Strzok promoted the DNC funded (and 'ex' MI6 agent prepared) Steele Dossier to the Bureau and broader intelligence community out of anti-Trump animus.

As America's Internet newsman Matt Drudge asked, we know the penalty for lying to the FBI, but what is the penalty for when the FBI lies to Congress and to us? As our friend LaRouchePAC's Harley Schlanger says, get ready for more revelations pending regarding the rampant politicization of the FBI and weaponizing of other three letter agencies against Americans under Obama, fabricating 'Russia' allegations to justify surveillance of the Trump team. -- JWS

As 'RussiaGate' Implodes, Brits Push 25th Amendment To Remove Trump

As 'RussiaGate' Implodes, Brits Push 25th Amendment To Remove Trump

Robert Mueller the former FBI director turned 'independent counsel' plans to indict and arrest someone in President Trump's circles on Monday. That is, if you believe the breathless reporting first of [the] C[linton]N[ews]N[etwork], then 'confirmed' by The Wall Street Journal and NBC. The fact that unsealing a grand jury indictment in advance would be illegal for members of Mueller's team hasn't deterred #TheResistance and Democratic Twitter from frothing into a collective frenzy over this pre-Halloween weekend.

Much of Washington seems to think that telegraphing an indictment is a sign of Mueller's confidence -- but it actually smacks of desperation. Urged on by Fox News, the House Intelligence Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee have both been closing in on the question of whether a trashy piece of partisan [British intelligence derived] opposition research was used by the likes of DNI James Clapper, DCI John Brennan and Mueller's since fired pal FBI director James Comey to justify FISA court warrants of surveillance against Trump and his campaign associates. The abuse of intelligence community assets for partisan political purposes being one of the articles of impeachment drawn up against Richard Milhous Nixon before he resigned in 1974, and the allegation a small army of CIA/NSA/FBI shills have most vigorously denied regarding Obama Administration ordered spying on the Trump campaign.

As the astute Conservative Treehouse site notes, if Mueller did not turn in an indictment ASAP he would have no chance of holding off growing Republican calls for him to resign from the special counsel investigation over blatant conflicts of interest, ranging from his friendship with Comey (whose firing is laughably cited as a potential obstruction of justice by the President) to Mueller's own entanglement and shielding of the Clintons and their money laundering Foundation in the bribery-boosted Uranium One transaction. Since politicized prosecutors can indict a ham sandwich in this country, Mueller is reverting to his reckless and often illegal tactics of persecution previously used against various targets from Lyndon LaRouche to Boston civil rights attorney Harvey Silverglate. -- JWS

Countering the Deep State/Mueller Soft Coup: LaRouchePAC Circulates Report on Capitol Hill Regarding the Independent Counsel's History of Gross Prosecutorial Misconduct and Criminal Cover-ups

Oct. 18, 2017 (EIRNS)—WGBH, Boston’s Public Radio station, carried an expose on Robert Mueller demonstrating that he is more akin to "Tomas de Torquemada" (the Grand Inquisitor) than "the choir boy he is touted to be." The piece was written by Harvey Silverglate, Boston’s legendary criminal defense and civil liberties champion, who is known nationally for his defense of the Constitution.

Silverglate detailed how Mueller once tried to entrap him by running a sting on him when Mueller was the U.S. Attorney in Boston. Prosecutors going after defense lawyers directly is considered by the bar to be the equivalent of deliberately targeting paramedics on the battle field, a demonstration of zealotry far outside the bounds of the permissible.

When will the conduct of the DNC be investigated with respect to Ukraine?

When will the conduct of the DNC be investigated with respect to Ukraine?

Revelations that Ukrainian Soviet-derived rocket technology was delivered to UN sanctioned North Korea have in recent days caused considerable embarrassment to the U.S.-backed Kiev government.

Such reports regarding the extent of the corruption in Ukraine and the country's willingness to covertly assist the rocket program of a regime that has repeatedly threatened to nuke the United States politically complicate neocon and deep state efforts to re-arm the Ukrainians against Russia and the Russian backed breakaway republics of the Donbass at American taxpayer expense. As Monday's RogueMoney radio regular guest London Paul writes in The Sirius Report article reposted below, Kiev's efforts to intervene in the 2016 election against Donald Trump have yet to be properly investigated by the  U.S. Justice Department. -- JWS
