Boris Johnson gives 'final deal' to Brussels

Boris Johnson gives 'final deal' to Brussels

Johanna Ross, Journalist

In the proposal, Johnson stresses that a failure to achieve a withdrawal agreement with the EU would represent ‘a failure of statecraft for which we would all be responsible’. He also makes it clear that the UK would not accept the Irish backstop proposal put forward in previous deals by Theresa May and instead outlines an alternative vision for the Irish border - a series of customs checkpoints beyond the frontier between north and south.

Clearing the Fog of War: Lies, Damn Lies, Damn British Lies

Clearing the Fog of War: Lies, Damn Lies, Damn British Lies

The Washington Post of Monday, April 16, portrays President Trump as surrounded by a traitorous foreign policy team which is lying to him constantly and persistently about Russia and actions this team has taken in the President’s name, in your name, against Russia and China. The Post attempts to claim that Trump’s national security staff staged a palace coup against him concerning Russia and Syria and that Trump lost the battle. But the President responded immediately by acting against the traitors around him. He scuttled the appointment of Nikki Haley’s assistant, the Never-Trumper Jon Lemer, for a national security post with Mike Pence. The White House announced that new sanctions against Russia, based on Russia’s support for Syria, which Nikki Haley promoted only yesterday, were being rolled back. It was publicly announced that President Trump still wants to meet with Vladimir Putin, although a date has not yet been set.

At the same time, French President Macron bragged to the world that it was he who duped the President into a missile attack on Syria, reviving the very Clinton/Obama regime change doctrines the American people righteously rejected in the 2016 elections. This only sets the stage for ferocious blowback on the President of France.

The British Empire Is Un-Masked, But Desperate

The British Empire Is Un-Masked, But Desperate

On April 5, Russian media released audio recording of a phone call made by Yulia Skripal's cousin in which the 33-year-old woman hospitalized in Great Britain says she may be released soon. The legacy media line, readily apparent from Thursday afternoon posted articles of the UK Guardian and US establishment flagship The New York Times, is that the Russian government are exploiting Yulia's phone call to her cousin and recovery to discredit British claims that she was poisoned with novichok, a nerve agent said to be ten times more lethal than VX.

Viktoria Skripal, a niece to Yulia's former GRU agent and British intelligence asset father Sergei, is seeking a British visa to see her relatives, while Moscow's embassy is insisting on Yulia's right to consular access under international law now that she is awake and talking. Her Majesty's Government is thus in a severe bind and losing face rapidly as its claims fall apart, even ahead of a highly anticipated Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) toxicology report.

With Foreign Minister Boris Johnson's statements to Deutsche Welle that the Porton Down lab located near the crime scene in Salisbury had definitively traced the poison to labs in Russia now exposed as lies, the spin job has become harder for the UK presstitutes. The taxpayer funded program BBC Newsnight did its best, bringing on three reputed experts on Russia to complain that Labour opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn has been carrying water for the Russians line. The Newsnight presenters repeated how many countries had joined in solidarity with Theresa May's government in expelling Russian diplomats, while failing to mention the vast majority of nations including several NATO and EU members which did not participate in the anti-Russian expulsion campaign. For good measure, the BBC also showed Corbyn playing with Russian matroshka dolls in front of children, adding to its earlier disavowed subliminal campaign of depicting Corbyn with a Russian-style hat in front of a red toned St Basil's Cathedral backdrop. Yet with every day that the Theresa May government and its crypto-Tory and Blairite Labour allies in the media further discredit themselves, Corbyn and his supporters gain strength. -- JWS

Lavrov Points to Likely British Intelligence Role in Skripal Poisoning

Lavrov Points to Likely British Intelligence Role in Skripal Poisoning

Tuesday's admission from the head of Great Britain's biochemical defense lab at Porton Down located a few miles from the crime scene in Salisbury, England where ex-GRU agent Sergei and his daughter Yulia Skripal were poisoned is a bombshell. It directly contradicts the statements of British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson to Deutsche Welle TV that Porton Down scientists had explicitly traced the alleged novichok nerve agent to secret production facilities in Russia. Together with Yulia's miraculous recovery from exposure to a toxin said to be ten times more deadly than VX and the multiple versions of how she and her father came into contact with the substance (smeared on their door according to The New York Times US/UK sources, sprayed through the vents of Sergei's BMW, or the latest version: hidden by unknown assassins in breakfast kasha cereal) the entire British government case is collapsing before our eyes.

There has been no conclusive CCTV footage presented of suspects in the most surveilled island on the planet. Or eyewitnesses to suspicious persons around the Skripals prior to their collapse hours (not minutes) after their alleged exposure to deadly nerve agent. These huge 'plot holes' had already put the Theresa May government's case for a targeted assassination (as opposed to what Moscow is calling it, a provocation designed to be blamed on Russia) from any government or non-government entity in doubt.

The Cold War 2 turbocharging legacy media is doing its best to help Theresa May's government and pseudo-experts backing its story put up brave faces. They insist that British intelligence confirmed the existence of hidden Russian stocks of novichok for assassinations via intel sources and methods MI6 cannot disclose. However, we know from Wikileaks that the British government and the then Hillary Clinton-led State Department had ordered suppressed discussions around the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and at The Hague in the Netherlands of how much the U.S./UK governments knew about novichok and the availability of the chemical formula to many state actors.
