Getting Down to Business

"Today, Chinese-Russian relations have entered the best period of their development. This is a result of the long-term efforts of both sides. As they say, “the more people put twigs into the fire, the brighter its flame." -- President Xi Jinping, Moscow, July 4, 2017

Presidents Putin and Xi held a joint news conference on July 4th. The signing of agreements and deals that link arms between the two countries in the new Silk Road world is nothing new. But this time it is apparent that business leaders from both the private and public sectors are being woven even more strongly into the silk.

I did chuckle at Putin's backhanded smack to CNN and the #FakeNews virus that continues unabated in the West. Dozens of media leaders of the two countries were present in the audience. The Russian president reminded us all of the vital need that can be filled when news is reported "promptly and efficiently," with "verified information." {Heavy sigh ... how long has it been since we have had "verified information" in an American MSM outlet? Children are being born this year who don't even know what that is.}

A transcript of the two presidents' remarks are found at the Kremlin's website [linked here]. Here are Putin's remarks about mainstream news:

It is significant that this meeting is attended by representatives from the media and various media-related organisations from the two countries. They contribute greatly to building an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding, and strengthening the international positions of Russia and China. They report, promptly and efficiently, verified information on the politics, the economy and the history of our countries, the lives of Russian and Chinese citizens to the global community.

The Moscow agenda yesterday included a 68-billion-yuan investment fund announcement, established jointly by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the China Development Bank (CDB). According to Sputnik, the agreement implies that the new fund would contribute to direct investments within the framework of China's "One Belt, One Road" strategy.

Representatives from Russia's and China's media industries were present at these proceedings in Moscow. It was further announced that Russia's Katyusha television channel would be coming to China as well as "a new modern animated television series featuring popular Russian and Chinese animated characters." What's not to love about that? "So, America, not only do we not need your Dollar; we also don't need your cartoons!" Ouch. It's easy to see how the #OneBelt initiative is just as interested in re-shaping Eurasian culture as it is with launching a new era of prosperity.

Here is the 75-minute broadcast of the joint conference with audio translation. Rest assured there's much more in here than cartoons. You'll love the rant by the female editorial chief from against #FakeNews CNN -- scroll to the 32 minute marker. It is quite delicious. The second half of the video is filled with the signing of MOU's between Russian and Chinese counterparts of various business and cultural sectors.

During the final 18 minutes, Putin discussed the impending flow of the Yamal LNG products next year and the joint projects in aviation and space exploration, all coming down the tracks in less than five years. He made it clear that the two countries' national currencies would see greater use now that the first office of the Russian central bank is operating in China.

Putin also made it clear that Russia and China are working together to solve the "Korean problem." In other words, President Trump, thanks, but you can butt out now. We fixed Syria and we will fix Pyongyang.

Xi was proud to receive the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle from Putin. This is the highest order awarded by the Russian Federation. This was a huge honor and I'm sure our James the Russian Analyst will have something to say about its significance.

In conclusion, the One Belt continues steamrolling along. Now we turn to the G20 in Hamburg and the highly anticipated meeting between Putin and Trump. We can't wait to see what THOSE tweets will look like!

Meanwhile, it's Miller time ....

"When I look back on all the crap I learned in high school, it's a wonder I can think at all." -- the "Kodachrome" song by Paul Simon, 1973

I grew up in a quiet, small, city east of the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County, in Palmdale, California. I'm not quite old enough to remember the assassination of JFK, but do remember the assassination of Brother Bobbie on an early summer's day. I was finishing up my first grade at the elementary school just up the street from our suburbia house. Maybe that was when I became self-aware that something wasn't right. When I saw the events of that day unfolding on our new color TV, I remember a thought passing through my 6.5 year old mind. And silly me assumed that everybody else was also holding this same belief because it seemed so obvious to me:

"The President and his brother must have been killed by the same people."

I don't know how a little first-grader was able to come up with that conclusion. That certainly wasn't the sort of idea you would expect to be rumbling around the brain of a little kid. But it kept rumbling in mine and still does, to this day.

The people of my generation passed through the Space Race, the Vietnam War, Watergate, the Disco Era, Yuppies, the World Wide Web, and Irrational Exuberance. Throughout this entire period, a relentless Matrix Machine has been whirring in the background of our lives, unnoticed and largely unchallenged. In fact, that Machine has been whirring for centuries.

I guess it was inevitable that the 6.5 year old kid who once questioned the official doctrine of the Kennedy assassinations would one day swallow her own Red Pill. And so I did, following the 2008 Crash, as I watched the financial lives of my parents and myself collapse into disaster as the equity of our homes evaporated into the dry Arizona air.

I finally came to that moment as have so many readers and contributors of Rogue Money, that day when you finally stop and ask "Why did this happen?" I started reading, researching, listening. Gradually the bricks of The Matrix began to crumble. The monstrous beast was no longer hidden from view.

And so I join this team of writers and readers who are all trying to Slay the Bankster Beast in their own way. We carry on with confidence because no Evil has ever stood forever against the onslaught of Truth. Undaunted, we move forward.

You will find that my contributions to the Rogue Money web site will focus on the deep history that created The Matrix in the first place. In other words, you won't find any opinion forthcoming on this-or-that presidential election ... unless you are talking about the overthrow of regimes 2- or 3- thousand years ago. In that case, I might be interested!

I make no apologies if what you hear steps on the toes of a long-cherished paradigm. I am just A Messenger. In fact, you will find that my blogs will invite your comments to provide additional pieces of information that perhaps you may have gleaned from your own research. I have many holes that need filling.

You've been told what, how, when, and where to think your whole life. I leave it up to you to exercise your own Mind and take appropriate Action to slay the monster for yourself.
