Trump expresses confidence at Montana rally ahead of summit meeting with Putin

Tempering Expectations of a Breakthrough in Helsinki:
The Anglo-American Deep State Remains Determined to Block U.S.-Russia Detente

Some White House officials worry that Putin, who has held several calls with Trump, plays on the president’s inexperience and lack of detailed knowledge about issues while stoking Trump’s grievances.

The Russian president complains to Trump about “fake news” and laments that the U.S. foreign policy establishment — the “deep state” in Putin’s words — is conspiring against them, the first senior U.S. official said.

“It’s not us,” Putin has told Trump, the official summarized. “It’s the subordinates fighting against our friendship.” -- The Washington Post

Here is what the person or persons known as Q had to say about the upcoming summit on June 27:

If you are smart (stupid) you know what just occurred at the meeting in Russia. Attempts to frame Russia / POTUS (optics) are failing and will soon be exposed. [Objective] to keep POTUS away from PUTIN failed. Bolton + PUTIN should scare you. Enemies are allies. EVIL has no place here. America is no longer for sale. The age of taxing our citizens across the World while entry to our markets is FREE is OVER. The WORLD will UNITE in this cause (G v E/R v W). Forced immigration pushers will be exposed (the 'why'). Read the BIBLE. GOD WINS. Q

RogueMoney readers of Harley Schlanger's LaRouchePAC columns understand the desperation of the Anglo-American deep state to keep Trump and Putin from making any deals. It's the reason behind the entire false Russian election hacking and meddling narrative, which was recently reiterated by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. The Richard Burr (N-NC) and Mark Warner (D-VA) deep state dominated panel insisted no political pressure was applied to analysts to boost the Obama White House/Democrats narrative of 'Russian meddling'. This denial came after the Republicans of the Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) led House Intel Committee had cast some doubts on the supposedly ironclad finding, that Putin's security services actively boosted Trump during the 2016 campaign. The six page SSCI document released shortly before the Independence Day holiday offered no declassified evidence to support its findings, but was widely cited by the legacy media, Democrats and #NeverTrump ers as a repudiation of Trump repeating Putin's denials of any Russian intervention in U.S. politics.

Is Q Correct That the Bad Guys Are on the Run and Awan's Immunity Deal is Part of Some Sort of 5D Chess That'll Be Revealed in Time, When 'StealthJeff' Sessions Finally Indicts Someone?

The ordered extradition of Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom from New Zealand to the U.S., after Dotcom had pleaded for the chance to testify to special counsel Robert Mueller and Congress about Seth Rich being the real source of the DNC emails dump, as well as the sweetheart immunity deal handed out by the Justice Department to suspected Pakistani intelligence asset and former House Democrat IT Imran Awan, do not inspire confidence in us that the attempt to "frame Russia" and use Russiagate to deflect from real crimes is being rolled back. On the contrary, besides the upcoming questioning of former FBI no. 2 for counterintelligence Peter Strzok, there seems to be very little to look forward to this summer in terms of exposing deep state efforts to fabricate or 'fix' intelligence around the policy of perpetuating Cold War 2.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's smirking dismissals of many outraged questions regarding his department slow rolling subpoenas from Republican members of Congress, and the subsequent Fusion GPS stench surrounding old allegations of ignoring sexual abuse being revived against Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the leading figure who grilled Rosenstein late last month, do not reveal 'the bad guys' on the run.

While Deep State and Trade Wars Rage in the USA, the Syria War is Drawing to a Close

At the same time, the summer doldrums of deep state swamp politics at home are not stopping major positive shifts abroad. The Congressional delegation which included Sen. Shelby and Sens. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), John Hoeven (R-N.D.), Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), John Kennedy (R-La.), Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), John Thune (R-S.D.) and Rep. Kay Granger (R-Tex.). made a powerful statement just by their presence in Moscow, and willingness to defy the manufactured Russiagate hysteria on social media characterizing any contacts with the Russians as treasonous. Additionally, the fact that several Senators and one Congresswoman visiting the Russian Foreign Ministry and Duma hailed from oil and gas rich states which will be impacted by steel tariffs -- including on oil and gas pipe -- was not lost on the Russians. On Friday, Moscow announced new duties on American products including specialized American machinery used for drilling by U.S. oil field service firms in retaliation for the Trump Administration's tariffs on Russian steel.

Even as Moscow signaled that it will stand with its giant ally China in the trade wars, conciliatory trial balloons were being floated over the Middle East. It is here where Putin has achieved tremendous prestige in less than three years, bringing an ally in Syria back from the brink of total defeat to resounding victory. It is in the Mideast and not Ukraine or the related US/EU sanctions that the two sides have the most room for maneuver in negotiations.

On Friday Russian military police and elements of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) secured the Nasib border crossing with Jordan. This will re-open overland trade routes to Jordan and the Gulf states which have been closed or interdicted by the jihadists for years, benefiting Damascus war-ravaged economy. Meanwhile, multiple armed groups surrendered their heavy weapons to the SAA this week as part of deals allowing some fighters to evacuate on the green buses to Idlib. SAA units are expected to take positions along the 1974 demarcation line facing Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) occupying the Golan Heights. Despite moving additional tanks to the area there are no signs the IDF intends to engage the SAA or vice versa, meaning the deal reached between Putin and Netanyahu in Moscow on Victory Day and confirmed with the Jordanians is holding.

With southwest Syria nearly resolved, the only questions remaining now are what to do about the creeping Turkish occupation in the north and the Americans unauthorized presence east of the Euphrates and at their Al-Tanf base along the Jordanian border. Experienced Levant correspondent Elijah J. Magnier believes that President Trump if not all of his Administration are looking for a face-saving way out, wanting no part of an Iraq-style insurgency that could ensue if the Pentagon and Congressional neocons dig in and refuse to let the troops leave. Writing for the Asia Times, Pepe Escobar says the fate of Maghawhir al Thawra (Commandos of the Revolution) 'moderate rebels' the Pentagon has been training could be a sticky point in the Trump-Putin talks. But with Syrian Democratic Kurdish forces (SDF) already in negotiations to return the former ISIS caliphate capital of Raqqa to Damascus control, the U.S. position is untenable beyond a few more months anyway.

With Hardly Anyone Buying the Latest #BlameRussia Novichok Stunt in the U.K., is Another Chemical False Flag in the Works for Northeastern Syria?

As we wrote in our Syraq SITREP 60, the neocons haven't given up entirely on their Syria projects yet. Israeli media outlets are claiming this weekend that Lebanese Hezbollah fighters are participating in the SAA offensive, without offering much in the way of evidence this is so beyond the areas immediately bordering Lebanon. After changing the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) rules over Russian objections, the British pushed OPCW claims that chlorine agents were found in the town of Douma, even though no traces of sarin or any other nerve toxin could be confirmed. U.S., British and French forces struck three Syrian targets with standoff missiles days after the alleged chemical incident in April. President Trump cited children dying from the Douma chemical attack as justification for illegal strikes on a sovereign country, well before OPCW inspectors could reach the town south of Damascus. The Russians later claimed that dozens of American Tomahawk and other missiles were shot (or more likely electronically brought) down by Syrian air defenses.

Irrespective of the flimsy evidence the OPCW cited (chlorine can and is used for water treatment), the prospect of another chemical attack staged during the NATO summit of July 11-12 or right before Trump meets Putin in Helsinki cannot be discounted.  The British in particular remain the most desperate to sabotage any U.S.-Russia rapprochement: the bizarre reappearance of 'Russian made' novichok poisoning a middle aged drug and alcohol using couple, with no apparent connection to Sergey and Yulia Skripal who were poisoned nearly four months ago, underlines London's grim desperation. But the false flag machine also appears to be increasingly incompetent and rushed in its activities, suggesting that there may be powerful forces at work to foil 'the cabal's work in this toxic space.
