Syraq SITREP 23: SAA Breaking Deir Ez Zor Siege, Bulgarian Journalist Fired for Exposing NATO's Arms Pipeline to AlCIAeda/ISIS

Civilian celebrations were filmed in Deir Ez Zor at the news that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is now almost within sight of linking up with forces that have withstood over three and a half years of ISIS besieging the city. After numerous spoiling attacks on the SAA advance across the desert failed, the terrorists now have to face pro-government tribal sleeper cells rising up in the rear as the Army approaches.

While ISIS will try to attack the narrow land corridor expected to open up by early Tuesday, the Russian-backed SAA has now accomplished what many said would never happen: the siege is being lifted. All that awaits the once mighty pseudo-caliphate across the Euphrates River valley is dispersal and death.
